Virginia referendum - if you hate MAGA, vote YES (even if your mailing says to vote 'No')

Honestly, it sucks, but the republicans are unabashedly pushing to create barriers to women voting (the SAVE act), threatening to put ICE thugs at polls, removing polling locations in areas with minorities, gerrymandering aggressively, and lying to the electorate. Keeping republicans in power means the erosion of democracy. Sadly, the republican controlled Congress has not shown any willingness to restrain Trump from starting wars, ICE shooting citizens in the street, imposing tariffs, or running massive deficits so the Pentagon can spend millions on king crabs.

The republicans don’t follow the rules. They cheat and profit from their lies. This is where we are as a country. You can roll over and let them continue to run ever larger deficits and lie about bombing schools or you can fight back. Up to you to decide what country you want to live in.

Spanberger is already updating her resume for her next job (just like Youngkin tried to do after he was inaugurate). I hate Virginia state politics being used on a national platform.

If I vote yes, when I drive from OT to Tysons I think I go through like 4-5 different congressional districts. All politics are ridiculous.

A no vote is a vote for republicans to keep doing this in red states and then dominate congress in perpetuity. The only way to stop it is to counter it and then get a national anti-gerrymandering law.
