Having dinner and then eating at noon, is not fasting

Anonymous
There, the end. It is not intermittent fasting, it is just skipping breakfast, or not wanting breakfast, or not needing breakfast. I am tired of the stupidity of skipping breakfast having "politically correct," name. It is nothing, not a diet, not a lifestyle, nothing special. You are not doing IF, there is not such thing as IF, there is just not eating for longer period of time. If you are not going 24 hours, you are not fasting. The end. Rant over.

It's okay that you don't know what intermittent fasting is. You don't have to.

Hmm, people who have written books on IF don’t agree with you that only 24+ hours is a fast, and there are studied benefits to shorter fasts. I’m not sure you know of which you speak - which like PP said is okay - but don’t pretend you do.

There is not such thing as intermittent fasting. It is a stupid construct by stupid people. A fad, which has no substance. Go hungry for a day, or go home.

Sounds like you need a Snickers and a library card.

Who cares if it is or isn’t?

So you hate the game, not the player. Why do you care what other people choose to believe, then? I’m sure your preferred diet method is working out just fine for you.

I eat healthily and don't "fake" not eat. It is delusional thinking. Just like some delusional pps here think that is is starving yourself! Three meals are a recent invention and now we have to admire people who skip breakfast? No thanks.

Who said you need to admire them? You’re pretty fired up about something that has zero impact on your life. Get a grip.

I lost 10 lbs this way. I do believe that I ate fewer calories because I had a shorter window in which to eat but hey, it worked.

I think you need a hug, and some carbs.
