DeSantis would be a great choice. No one can argue that he isn't eminently qualified (though no doubt, DCUM's finest will do just that).

I’m a liberal who thinks DeSantis is a blowhard….but he’s 100x better than Hegseth. And he will easily get confirmed. Does Ron want it? It will also elevate the Lt Gov to Gov and make her a front runner in 2026

He admitted to 5 affairs during his FIRST marriage. One wonders how may more he had during his subsequent marriages. TBH, this guy gives off Hunter Bidenesque vibes--deeply flawed and troubled men with addictions who leave wrecked multiple marriages and lives in their destructive wake.
