See ya, Pete. Hope Fox takes you back.

DeSantis would be a great choice. No one can argue that he isn't eminently qualified (though no doubt, DCUM's finest will do just that).

I’m a liberal who thinks DeSantis is a blowhard….but he’s 100x better than Hegseth. And he will easily get confirmed. Does Ron want it? It will also elevate the Lt Gov to Gov and make her a front runner in 2026

So he takes his wife with him on his hill visits as reinforcement? She knows who he is. She was having an affair with him while he was married to his second wife. Women who “stand by their (womanizing) man” are just gross, and I include Hillary in that assessment.

Yes. Is this wife the former FOX employer who Hegseth impregnated while married to the second wife.

What happened to the first wife? Women sure have terrible judgment

Crazy Eyes may have something to say about this choice...

Gross. Hiding behind his uniform to gaslight her family? That’s what a sociopath would do.

If Gaetz, Hegseth and Patel aren't confirmed/drop out, I'd consider that a win. That's about as far as we can get with this administration.

She was apparently wise enough to not breed with him.

Easily the three most unqualified nominees for cabinet positions ever.

I agree but would add Tulsi Gabbard for Dir. of National Intelligence to your list.

Can’t believe Pete’s mom did an interview on Fox News this morning defending her son. What adult man needs mommy making his case? Trump is probably thinking WTH. How embarrassing. Heard that Trump has signed agreement with FBI to help vet his candidates going forward. Pete will be out within 48 hrs. I bet today.

This article is WILD:

In the spring of 2008, Schwarz got what she believed was good news. According to two sources, Hegseth told her he wanted to move with her to Minneapolis so he could attend the University of Minnesota’s Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Schwarz was elated that they could finally live together in the same city, a source said. She quit JP Morgan, sold her New York apartment, and moved to Minneapolis, where she got a job at the food conglomerate General Mills. But Schwarz soon became concerned when Hegseth made no signs of leaving DC and was evasive about his plans, the source said.

According to this source, Schwarz felt gaslighted by Hegseth’s constantly shifting stories. “In her journal she was begging God to help her figure out what was happening,” one of Schwarz’s friends recalled.
That November, Hegseth broke the news to Schwarz. According to a source, he showed up at Schwarz’s parents’ house in Forest Lake wearing his Army uniform and admitted his infidelity. Schwarz was understandably devastated. Hegseth appeared devastated too. The following day, Schwarz’s younger brother called Hegseth. “The conversation lasted four hours,” a source familiar with the call said. “Pete said he no longer believed in God and family values. He claimed he no longer wanted to seek the limelight. He said, and this quote is as clear as day, ‘I’m a f#cked up individual.’”

Schwarz’s first impulse was to make the marriage work, two sources said. Although she was crushed by Hegseth’s infidelity, she was still in love with him. But sources said that her hope soon faded. First, Schwarz saw charges for a local hotel room on her credit card that she didn’t recognize. When she confronted Hegseth, he was evasive. Two sources told me that Schwarz later learned that Hegseth had booked the room for Deering, with whom he had been having an affair. Finally, Hegseth revealed that he had had five affairs while they were married.

Schwarz told him to only communicate through her divorce lawyer. According to two sources, Hegseth wanted to split their assets 50-50. Schwarz did have leverage, though. According to two sources close to her, Hegseth repeatedly asked her to sign an NDA, but she refused. Their divorce judgement filed in Hennepin County reads: “There exists an irretrievable breakdown of the parties' marriage relationship…due to Respondent’s infidelity.”

He admitted to 5 affairs during his FIRST marriage. One wonders how may more he had during his subsequent marriages. TBH, this guy gives off Hunter Bidenesque vibes--deeply flawed and troubled men with addictions who leave wrecked multiple marriages and lives in their destructive wake. (Yes I know HB is worse, but PH is still really bad as well.) How are all these ex affair partners and wives so easily fooled?
