Nah. “Self-made” with Thiel and Chou pulling strings and writing checks isn’t the type of achievement that I respect. Neither is forcing children who’ve been victims of rape and / or incest to bear children— particularly when he seems to care very little for the outcomes that both the original victims and the children parented by very young traumatized single mothers will face throughout their futures. Many of us have Ivy League degrees and stories about the resilience that helped to get us there, so no need for jealousy. The book included a political screed and more than a few lies. No jealousy there either. Running for VP with a demented, narcissistic boss? Really, no jealousy there, especially when I remember his last VP’s last few days in office. He’s an awful person, and it’s hard to see what he brings to the ticket — besides Thiel’s cash. I do wonder what will happen to Usha when Trump loses. I was surprised that she quit her day job — instead of taking a leave of absence through November. |
Choosing the white ones, though, TUCKING HIS PANTS LEGS into the boots, and going out in public like that is a choice. |
PP, I’m not sure I agree with your politics, but I appreciate that you can express yourself in a civil way, unlike so many of the other online commenters about Governor DeSantis. For example, I’m not sure a “choad face” (which he is being called) is even a real thing.

Doubt it. It would be chaotic given that the convention had already occurred, and Trump has had all year to pick a VP candidate. It's not like he rushed into this decision and JD Vance has been on record on various media for all the crazy comments people are highlighting now.

No… and that’s one thing about the right that grates me. They think they own hard work and independence and personal resilience and morality, yet it couldn’t be further from the truth. You can work to create a great life for yourself and still want to make things easier and more equitable for those coming behind you. If anything, this attitude is pro-social with JDs being anti-social (aka weird.) I would argue that JD Vance’s assumption that people could only be sufficiently motivated to invest in the future of a community by bearing biological offspring as representative of an extremely selfish/self-serving, anti-Christian and even amoral mindset. One at odds with my Christian beliefs, so i can’t vote for him or his running mate while maintaining integrity to my faith and values. |
+1 Trump has known he would need a new VP for three and a half years! |

This picture. Ha! |
“The Trump campaign should be forced to carry Vance to term.” lol |
For those who are going to complain about Raw Story, it’s just describing an appearance on Morning Joe yesterday by the NYT’s Peter Baker. Chris Matthews was also on in a different segment today saying Trump is going to look stupid for picking this guy just because his kids wanted him. |
Trump already hates his sons and thinks they’re f*** ups with terrible instincts. |
