I really disappointed in so many of you who probably consider yourselves smart and savvy people. Instead of evaluating Biden’s stable leadership, you’re blindly regurgitating conservative talking points.

Or on the other hand threatening not to vote at all for Biden, likely guaranteeing a Trump win. And you know who won’t be good for Palestinians (and lots of others)? Trump. But ok, take your toys and go home. Burn down your own country to punish a presidency who recognized how devastating 10/7 was and had the decency to show support to the Israeli people - and Jews around the world - who realized that Hamas is intent on exterminating Jews and this was an act of war.

I don't support Trump and don't want him as President and won't vote for him.

That said, he started a reckoning in America. If America votes for him as President, let the reckoning come. It won't be my vote that brings it.

Or America can do better. Tired of this lesser of the two evils BS.

And I’m tired of people complaining that the Democrat is always the lesser of two evils when they’re actually awesome. Whine, whine, whine is all some Democratic voters do. You guys sound like stereotypical twenty somethings with your tone deaf hand wringing and ignorance of the way things actually work.

And this is why Trump won in 2016 and will probably win in 2024. This is the new "deplorable" rhetoric being used to dismiss people who have legitimate concerns about our political system. The arrogance and elitism of thinking that you know what's best for others is what sent Hillary packing.

Economy will be roaring. Middle East will be forgotten. And the Republicans will still be pushing a national abortion ban.

Totally agree. Democratic landslide.

I hope you're right about a roaring economy and leave in the middle east. It seems unlikely, though, because we are sending money to both Palestine and Israel. Normally, if you fund both sides, it prolongs a war.

If people think voting for the GOP - likely Trump or not voting at all and by default enabling Trump to win - we won’t be going to get peace. Not in the Middle East, not in the United States, not anywhere. It we will be in a full-on fascistic state where people will be barred from basic civil rights because they are Muslim or gay or a woman (not that these aren’t in jeopardy already).

All these people who hate Israel, who deny it the right to protect itself from offensives from neighbors and terrorists, and want to “show Biden” for having the basic morality to support Israelis in the wake of the heinous attack of October 7 when so many were completely SILENT.

You’re biting your nose to spite your face.

I don't hate Israel. Don't deny it the right of self defense. Their bombing of Gaza is not self defense and doesn't get rid of Hamas, or the idea of Hamas. Just creates a new generation who will want to join the next version of Hamas. Their tactics have been brutal and have resulted in the loss of thousands of innocent civilians. You can't convince me that they couldn't have engaged different tactics to get rid of Hamas with less loss of civilians.

I understand Biden supports Israel. However, he has been callous in regards to the lives of Palestinians lost.

His comment that he was a Zionist, when that is such a loaded word to so many people.

His complete disregard of the number of Palestinians killed, when those numbers have been found reliable in previous conflicts thus far.

His complete disregard of the Palestinians prior to October 7. As if there was no problem, no issues going on in the West Bank, no settler violence, etc. Biden could have done/said things differently that wouldn't have alienated the Arab-American/Muslim voting block.

I have never voted for a Republican in 20 years and I don't plan to start. I think they don't know how to run government, have no plans on how to improve the lives of Americans, and a lot of them are beholden to racists and Islamophobes. And they will make my life in America more difficult if they are in power, no doubt. But I'm tired. I will vote my conscience. It's about time I do.

What would you recommend re: eliminating Hamas? This is a terrorist organization that deliberately hides itself in schools, mosques, hospitals, and other areas that maximize civilian peril. What should Israel have done differently? Curious what your thoughts are.

Pushing millions of civilians out of their homes into a giant refugee camps seems like a good way to breed terrorism, but I guess root causes don’t matter

The “refugee camps” are their homes. They were refugee camps 70 years ago. Now they are densely populated places from which Hamas launches rockets into Israel.

Hello, Biden is in the White House and we are engaged in TWO wars. TWO. Biden isn't saving us from anything and he's certainly not saving Palestinian children from being killed by Israel and from Israelis getting massacred by Hamas.

What exactly is Biden supposed to do other than what he and his administration are doing right now?

And just let me point up the massive hypocrisy of the right, which wants the US completely out of the Ukraine war but now wants us to do -- what? boots on the ground? -- in Israel/Gaza. Which is it? America First or Team America World Police?

Show me one reputable source that supports roaring economy. Everyone on both sides predict that it will continue sliding down.

This past quarter’s GDP number didn’t penetrate your bubble, eh? Nothing is sliding down now.

Really? Do nothing about the situation in Israel? You're obviously not a Democrat or a Republican.

So legitimizing ethnic cleansing is better? What passport do Palestinians living in Jordanian refugee camps hold?

Are you talking about the family members of American citizens in Gaza?

Are you talking about the people horrified by the death toll among children in Gaza?

Are you talking about the voters who were promised family leave, equal pay, and universal pre-k and it was traded away during the time Democrats held the White House and both houses of Congress?

You really see that as “whining”?

I see it as an informed and unsatisfied electorate unwilling to be taken for granted.

That GDP just reflects inflation. People paying more for fewer products. That’s why people are under incredible stress and getting very angry.

Anyone who thinks the current worries about Biden are just ‘conservative talking points’ is in a bubble and asking to lose.

Before someone says “but Trump will be worse!” Please reflect on the fact that the largest employer, the Federal Government, began paid family leave under President Trump. Under President Biden, workplace flexibilities are being rolled backward. President Biden has not secured paid family leave for the rest of the country as was his campaign promise.

I won’t vote for Trump but the knee jerk “Fear Trump Vote Biden!” has facts-based issues in some important demographics.

Any vote for anyone but Biden is a vote for Trump. At least own that you are willing to risk a second Trump term because you didn't get the one thing you wanted that -- I can 100% guarantee -- you won't get from a second Trump term.

Want paid family leave? Unionize.

I already have paid family leave. Because of a Republican President.
Do you know how much that fact sucks as a Biden voter?

You know who doesn’t have paid family leave? All the women Biden didn’t consider enough of a priority to fight for with his *own party* when he had the chance. Women are tired of being told “oh we’ll get to you next time sweetie could you bring us a coffee??” By the Democratic Party. I am tired of the President knowing women go back to minimum wage jobs two weeks after delivering a baby and being good with it because it means he didn’t have to make Joe Manchin mad.

This is a good point about the reckoning. Trump humiliated the powerful, including the Bushes+Clintons. That was long overdue. The Democrats refused to see that he was on to something (albeit with basically no interest in improving the message or accomplishing the big tasks) and instead they doubled-down on their past mistakes instead of seizing the initiative to go in a new direction. This is why Trump might win again, the Democrats have yet to upgrade themselves and it’s just their fault, the voters, including those of us who are heartbroken, are innocent.
