Mclean has shown they are not top level anymore

Arlington still a top dog going to the finals and losing to a elite team like Loudoun

Pipeline in Bethesda Tournament lost to Bethesda (big shocker)

Baltimore union tied to a weak SYC team shows that Union is no longer a elite team

Nobody cares about Maryland teams

Is that because Loudoun can't beat Pipeline? Or is it because it looks like Bethesda is improving more than anyone else thus far?

Goal, goal, goal for Maryland parents.

It is interesting that BSC did well because they suck in their developmental ENCL play. That league is very competitive league. Maybe the stronger competition is better for development and they are not surprised by speed of play in tournaments??? Too bad Arlington does not let their u12 girls play in a competitive league...only the u12 Arlington boys are allowed to do that. Arlington parents should ask why the boys are given special treatment vs the girls.

They beat pipeline 3-0, doesn't seem like it was close. BSC also has a new coach this year so maybe that changed their development.

Don’t look into it too hard. Pipeline had girls that were missing or hurt. Don’t forget BSC barely beat SYC 2008 Girls by one goal. Pipeline is the better team just had a bad day/team

No way, Pipeline does not lose, especially with 0-3 score.

You can look up BSC schedule and results. They play against some good teams but lose. It good they finally won a tournament and their own to boot.

Richmond strikers seems to be brought up a lot. What are they doing different that we can learn from?

They are the only game in town for an entire metro area. This isn't hard. They have a tremendous player pool and if you have at least competent coaching you can't screw it up.

Totally wrong. they have smaller, technical players who outplay everyone. The coaching is far superior to all all other clubs so they have developed faster and win purely based on skill level.

The coaching is far superior to who?

I am surprised no one has mentioned the GFR 08 Team, they have won Jeff Cup and they have a talented group of girls that play good possession and build out soccer. Will be a good DA team next year for Metro United.

They all play Futsal. 3 players on the US Youth Futsal National Team.

I haven't paid attention the Jeff cup in a while because DA teams don't compete in it, although I think that's a major gap for the tournament. They should create a DA bracket.

However, I thought Jeff cup was in the spring? Did you mean they won last year's tournament last spring? What bracket were they in? Jeff Cup has so many brackets, and winning one's bracket is great! Congratulations! It is important to be in the top bracket to be counted as over all "winner"
