Reasonable force isn't shooting someone from the driver's side window. |
The drivers window is not the front window and LEO are trained not to put themselves in front of a car. |
being parked across the road, forcing you to drive into the opposite lane of travel isn't blocking the road? |
If you watch the video at time :13 the only person with a drawn gun is positioned in front of the car, not the officer with his hand on the car/through the window |
One yelling for her to go, another trying to break into her car to assault her, a third murders her. None of that wall of nonsense you’ve posted is applicable here. He murdered her, he should go to trial. Put all Of the piggies on the stand. |
Suddenly the Honda Pilot is a “3 ton SUV” ? You are not a serious person. |
Exactly. Thank you. Her car was in the middle of the street which is a traffic violation for sure. But it isn't somethiung that ICE needs to, or should, regulate. Did they suspect she was an illegal immigrant? They weren't even on a mission, I read. They were just driving around and got caught up behind the protest? If they didn't suspect she was an illegal immigrant, and she wasn't even blocking them (because they could get through) then they were NOT operating in their scope of authority. And, it shows... because they were completely incompetent in how the handled the situation. Untrained thugs with delusions of grandeur. |
| How does one know that it is ICE vs a carjacker??? Anyone? She waved them to go by then they are in her face. Unmarked cars, unclear uniforms. I would think I was being carjacked! |
| Also not letting EMS in... I don't care if it was a criminal or not, that is WRONG!! Wtf?? |
I guess that if you are a big dumb fat untrained lump that is afraid of their own shadow, everything seems like reasonable force. |
| Can the shooter be held responsible by the state? I know federal authorities won’t do anything , but can Minnesota try him? |
|
CNN is reporting that a physician was on the scene of the shooting. The physician tried to assist the wounded woman. An ICE agent yelled at the physician to get away from the woman or he would shoot him too. The physician had no choice but to step back.
The woman bled out and died on the cold Minnesota ground. |
Cars could get through. Proper police should have come and arrested her. That's fine. They know how to do that. She was peacefully protesting, and when you do that you sometimes get arrested. (nonviolent resistance). No one's arguing that what she was doing was legal. But ICE doesn't have the jurisdiction to go around murdering people for blocking traffic. And they can't claim that she was trying to run them down - that's ridiculous. The ICE agent deliberately stepped in front of the vehicle and pointed his gun at her. He put himself in harms way and then claimed self defense. |
He made the mistake of an inexperienced officer. Since that mistake resulted in homicide, he deserves 6 to 20 years with the exact amount of time depending on many factors. |
Only if they can catch him. I assume he has fled the state. |
