Reports by mainstream press are very different.

I don't know the specific details of the case. You can bet no one will believe anything out of the mouths of DHS. But ICE is constantly engaging in chases at speeds that are incredibly dangerous for the density of the area. Police departments (including this particular one!) have policies restricting chase for this reason, because innocent people are at risk. And to put innocent pople at risk over a non-criminal immigrant is unconscionable. ICE is absolutely responsible for this death. Again.
