I don’t look for any of the teams to look different next year. They will all wait until high school to make any moves.

No one from Pride is leaving. Everyone said this every year, and nothing happens

I think there is one area team that is going to be decimated by departures . . .

Which team is that? Is this your guess or something you actually know?

This board has culminated.

Serious questions about parent culture at clubs are ignored. Endless trolling about moves that don't happen. Heckling on W-L versus actual discussion of tournament performance and development.

At least the girls high school board mixes in some decent contributions and analyses between the nonsense posts. The weather/field report from Hershey was the only valuable piece of information shared here in weeks.

Will check back next Winter.

Same troll. Same tired story. Different day.

Pride is focused on a good opportunity at US Youth Nationals in a couple of weeks, not on your garbage.

I agree with this, and I don't think it is Pride or Stars that will be decimated. The question is where the girls will land. If you were a girl looking to stay in the area, what team would be the top choice and why?

Folks, this is eighth grade girls lacrosse. I think you moms are taking yourselves a bit too seriously.

It's an eighth grade lacrosse forum Sherlock.

My guess: Under 5 on Pride girls leaving. Over 3 girls leaving Stars.

Yes - it will not be Pride or Stars.

Pride girls might see a move to Stars as being a solid strategic move in preparation for Capital but I am not so sure. The strongest players on Pride don't need an extended Capital tryout - they are going to make it ether way. For some other players, an extended tryout might actually be harmful as it could highlight deficiencies that might be developed over the next year or missed entirely in a tryout situation a year from now. You definitely would not want to be in a situation where you burn your bridge at Pride, get cut from Capital next summer, and then have to find somewhere else to land. For most girls, staying on Pride is probably the best move.

"For most girls, staying on Pride is probably the best move."

Of course it is...
