We've to give it to Harry for standing up for his wife, how many men from enmeshed families can claim that?

2) Meghan was never cut out to be an obedient princess. She was/is a nice but ambitious and hard working woman with a vision of what she wants out of life, a clear feeling about what she believes is wrong and right, and an unwillingness to compromise herself entirely for anything or anyone. And in the end, this clashed with the institution and doomed her. She was never going to not fight back. And if you admire that quality overall you support her, and if you think she should have been thanking the gods for landing her a prince and keeping her mouth shut as she enjoyed the trappings of the royal life than you hate her.

Meghan thought that the whole institution of the BRF should be bent to suit her because she's so special. And when it didn't, she cried. She was fighting back against what she perceived as slights, but is in fact just reality: you, Meghan, are NOT as important as Kate, because hierarchy. And this hierarchy will not change based on how fabulous or glamorous or popular you are. That's why they get priceless art and you get IKEA. Both of you live in places you do not own and never will.

I mean I think your read is incredibly oversimplified and reduces her to a caricature of a human being. I think any American introduced so abruptly into the institution would struggle greatly. Kate spend YEARS going through royal training while dating and breaking up with Will to be able to tolerate all the indignities with grace and a smile. She was literally being groomed since childhood for it. All of the british royals are, and they're all pretty screwed up!

Meghan had a difficult time with it but the real difference between her and the rest of them is that she just hadn't been taught to suppress it, smile and not talk about it or show it in any way shape or form no matter what anyone does or says to you.
And I say that with EMPATHY for Kate Middleton and Diana Spencer and Camilla and Fergie and Beatrice and Eugenie and Margaret and Anne. It is a brutal world, gilded, but brutal.

But Meghan HAD been offered advice and mentorship on the Windsor way, and she declined. It's not like she was thrown into it headfirst, she chose to dive in despite warnings. Don't you think it's a special kind of arrogance to think you already know all there is to be known, and you know better?

She was thrown in headfirst! This happened over months! Kate went through literal YEARS of blowups, trainings, retreats, breakups, reconciliations, more blowups etc before she was married in. Acting like something that took Kate YEARS to learn was something she could fully understand after a few months, with a MUCH larger press spotlight (Kate went through this before the 24/7 news cycle) is just unfair.

No. She volunteered. Kate and William lived quietly in the country for a few years after they married, doing very little and acclimating to married life. No one forced Meghan to rush into active royaling. She and Harry could have done the same for a few years, got babies out of the way and then started doing engagements. In fact, Sophie would have probably advised her to ease into it, not rush. Why would Meghan decline any mentorship?

His brother knocked him on his ass for being a shit overall candy told his witch-ass of a wife to mind her mouth.

LOVE “enmeshed.” Yasss! Certainly there’s no “enmeshed” relationship between either crybaby Meghan or chess master Harry and anyone who they’re related to, besides the occasional Doria cameo and uninvited niece. They’ve found freedumb!

Let's not forget that both Kate and Meghan seem opportunists in their own ways so competition and caution must be instinctive.

... and brothers already had resentment towards each other.

Sometime tell me this isn't an actual excerpt! I can't tell what is true and what is parody at this point....

The Duke of Sussex, 38, recalled that he received two signs that he was going to be a first-time parent. The first one came when he and Meghan, 41, were in Scotland and stumbled upon a group of singing seals while boating.
Harry remembered his wife singing to the animals whom he claimed sang back. “She really is magic, I thought. Even the seals know it.”

As the “seal opera” continued, the prince decided to count the moment as a “good omen” and stripped down, jumped in the water and swam toward them. He was later told that it was a “bad idea” to dive into the Scottish sea, which was allegedly “teeming with killer whales.” Harry, however, chose to see it as a “lovely fairytale.”

You must recognize also kate was groomed for the role. When William switched elitist schools, she switched too. She was groomed as to what to wear, how to act, what to say. So don't act like Kate didnt have a leg up on how this all worked that meghan did not.

I read this a lot....that she switched to St. Andrews to nab herself a prince. But who on earth groomed and trained her?

A lot of people who see themselves as modern feminists say this about Kate and say her mom set her up to marry the prince/heir. I think it’s a gross and likely untrue take but YMMV.

Back to Spare. Gossip columns have noted that the infamous party where the idiot dressed like a Nazi happened during an off-again period for William and Catherine. Seems very unlikely she laughed and laughed and encouraged Harry to wear that garbage. His story is just not credible to me at all, YMMV.

No, “they” don’t. Meghan does. One of them has lots of resignations from her staff across two continents, and psst it’s not Kate.

I truly do think Kate upsets a lot of women, especially WOC, and that they cannot see her with neutrality. It’s bizarre.

The Duke of Sussex wrote that Meghan “laughed and rolled her eyes” after he “took several slow, penetrating hits” of laughing gas when she was in labor with son Archie in 2019. He subsequently joined his wife as she bounced on a giant purple ball. When the nurse tried to administer the laughing gas to Meghan as her contractions continued, Harry wrote “there was none left” for the actress.

Okay, perhaps the rumours that this book is a spoof and the leak is all marketing are true....these stories can't be the actual book.

Some of Harry's girlfriends were able to figure out in their early twenties while dating him what life in the RF would be like and decide to not go for it. Meghan was older, wiser, and had just as many resources as her disposal. She planned to do things her way so she had no need for any insights from the RF.

I just don't believe that someone like Meghan - who friendly reporters describe as very thoughtful, always planning, researching, reading and preparing - came to the BRF as tabula rasa. Chances are, she either thought none of that applied to her, or that she'd be invited to revolutionize the place.

Yup. No one is buying innocent young naive maiden story. She is an educated, mature, divorced, professional women with high ambition.

Her PR is that she was an innocent “young mother,” (so weird that Meg’s pregnancies were classed as geriatric like a mortal 40 year old) and her graveside seance to reach Diana in front of her low IQ son is just the pitch-perfect turd atop her sundae of lies. She had her babies at and after the age where Diana was being driven through a tunnel in Paris, but that’s context they and their totally smart fans can’t quite accept.

"After taking a moment at his mother’s resting place on his own, Harry gave Markle, 41, her own private moment.

“When I returned, she was on her knees with her eyes closed and her palms flat against the stone,” he shared.

Harry also added that Markle told him she has asked Princess Diana for “clarity and guidance.”"

It seems they are spiritual/voodoo people.
