If my ex had been willing to have sex about 2x a week and her be the one to initiate once in a while, OR at least go to counseling to work TOWARD that... we might very well still be married.

Late 40s man here. My minimum is twice per week. I don’t think I really have a maximum. I could enjoy daily or even multiples per day.

Early 40s here. 2-4 x a week would be nice if more adventurous then more. Right now we are 2x a month and it's sucks, and I haven't been good at coping faithfully

65 and 2-3X would be great but we are closer to once every 5-6 days. I can't and don't complain because the sex is still very good and she had gotten more adventurous with age.

Daily is way too much for me with 2 to 3 times a week being ideal. Daily would most likely be quickies and that's not ideal for either of us. We like to take our time with some very nice foreplay followed by one or two of a half a dozen or so different positions.

I am 55. Wouldn't say no to every day but "every other day" would be ideal.

Last year we decided to do it every night for a week or more to see how it would work out. We both work and we have young children so being very tired at the end of the day is normal for us. For about the first 3 or 4 days it was great but we both felt that we were losing our intensity as we ended the week. We weren't as excited about getting started and the energy level wasn't there. Now we are back to 2-3 times a week with no set schedule. If one of us wants it we just make it happen. All my wife has to say is "I'm going to bed...would you like to join me?" and I know what she means with the magic word "join."

Sex 2/3 times a week is ideal. Intimacy everyday is crucial.
