I think moms who don't dye their hair look sloppy and ugly. I think moms who don't try to look cute are sad and are missing out and that life is too short you should atleast try to look pretty no matter what your weight is or what you look like. also trying to look nice does not mean your shallow FYI. it means i love myself and my husband and my kids . Ugly moms: you can be smart loving caring kind and pretty too ! its not that hard . So ladies please shower blow dry your hair colour it if you have grey hairs , use tweezers and don't cut your hair short if you can't pull the look off, buy fashion magazines for some ideas on how to dress in style use lip gloss some makeup and please no vera bradley bags !

I confess to judging people more on their communication skills than on their appearance. I think that someone who doesn't use correct capitalization and punctuation, or who doesn't know the difference between "it's" and "its" or "you're" and "your" is probably stupid, no matter how cute they look.

I also think that people who seek out certain brands and cast aspersions on other brands are shallow and are missing out on the important things in life.

I confess i can tell shallow from a mile away, and a tongue lashing from someone shallow on whether or not they fit the bill just won't change my mind.

Ok, I'll bite. I am a new mom and can tell you that I'm not able to shower every single day before I go out with DS. I don't always fix my hair or put make up on. It is not because I am slovenly or lazy. It is because that getting my kid out in the sunshine takes precedence over spending an hour in front of the mirror. It has become quite a luxury for me to shower AND wash, dry and straighten my hair everyday. And yes, this does take time. Time that I don't have right now. I do my best to look presentable but would never slam another mom for her appearance. Don't be so quick to judge others if you've only seen them once on the street. You don't know if they're having a tough day or what's on their plate. My god. You would think that women who share such a beautiful gift such as motherhood wouldn't be so quick to jump on one another.

totally agree on your/you're and their/they're/there
BUT I think you shouldn't be so harsh about it's/its. I often type the latter in emails and posts because i am lazy not because i dont (i mean don't!) know the difference!!

My favorite is the spacing after the periods and exclamation points. To the poster who can't stand the un-stylish moms, you don't need to hit space before you punctuate sweetie.

And I hate those damn Vera Bradley bags too but I really don't care if other people tote them around.

All I can say is, judging from your post you better hold on to your looks as long as you can!!!

Good for you. English is my second language that does not make me stupid . So smart people can you write a perfect paragraph in another language ? Btw I did not even try to reread or check anything it was what it was. Girls showering is not a luxury hire some help if you can't do it all.

Cheers , Natalie ?

I hear you sister. These American women prefer to go out all trashy and stinky, stay ignorant about other languages and cultures. We shower and learn a 2nd, 3rd, 4th... language and look cute.
We make them so jealous!!!!
