The mother is trying to blame it on PPD. How does that excuse allowing that kid to get a gun? |
PPD? |

Okay. Found the link, just could not understand how post partum depression contributed to her son shooting a teacher. Several miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. Guess she wants more children? |
Her lawyer is claiming there are extenuating circumstances that contributed to the event. Specifically that she had several miscarriages, an ectopic pregnancy and PPD. Look, I am very sorry she suffered loss. I’ve been there, I empathize with the pain. But I don’t see how this diminished her culpability. |
“According to Ellenson, during the week of January 3rd, school administrators determined that parents no longer needed to accompany the boy to school. His teacher, Abigail Zwerner, was shot in her classroom on January 6th.”
This is conflicting with a previous statement: The boy’s family said in a January statement that the child had an “acute disability” and had previously been accompanied to school each day by his mother or father. The week of the shooting, the statement said, was the first time that a parent had not been in class with him. “We will regret our absence on this day for the rest of our lives,” the family statement said. |
Gmafb- ppd? I’m also side eyeing the bench trial unless the judge goes hard on her. |
It's what lawyers do. Come up with any excuse to get clients off. |
The family is disgusting. Pure lies by pure worthless liars. The defense is expected. |
the defendant has a right to request a bench trial over a jury trial. It is a smart move since I cannot imagine a jury ever siding with the mother. |
I didn’t know what LSA was and had never been there. I just read through a thread and watched a video of the boy where he said he had a gun and was going to shoot someone. He was with his father. I don’t even know what to say. |
link? |
I don’t know if I can post the link here but the video was in the 8th or 9th page of a thread by a madame. |
The "mitigating circumstances" sound dubious. I have no clue what a miscarriage in January 2022 has to do with child neglect and improper parenting 15 months later. Her attorney sounds like a fool. |
Her attorney is probably grasping at straws to help her. |
+1 But, I'm still puzzling over the parent at the school who claimed anyone else would have been treated differently. i'm wondering if there is a family connection politically. |
