Beth would not go along if she didn't want to go along. She just wouldn't. If Beth said she'd walk rather than go along, Randall would cave. He can't live without Beth. Of all the characters and relationships in the show, the only indispensable person to anyone is Beth to Randall. |

| In this third episode of the trilogy, Rebecca calls Randall her hero. I the middle episode she calls Kate her best friend. I don't recall if there was a parallel conversation with Kevin in the first episode? And what would Rebecca label Kevin in her life? Obviously, she's a very loving mother and really wants him to move forward but does she have a special bond with him? |

Called a taxi or Uber, then bused or took a train. Teens with a phone can figure out pretty much anything. Many kids can't afford to go home for every holiday. I couldn't. Plus his custody issue might have complicated. |

I think their close bond developed later, and I think that's fine. Love is clear for all three even if the specific nature of bond might differ with each child. |
