So far on lawn parties, President Trump has saved over 1.5 million.. therefore he can do this 3x before he exceeds what was spent before. Before anyone argues "but those are different budgets" I point out that NO, the south lawn is a national park and taken care of by NPS... and the concerts previously were exclusive. This display is open to all.

Of course the difference being Obama didn’t use the military for his own personal propaganda. He didn’t call back military personnel from previously scheduled vacation to work at his event. He didn’t defy the wishes of the military by demanding they find a way to bring in military equipment so he could have a photo-op, putting them behind fences so the only people who had access to the display were VIP ticket holders. He didn’t spend more time planning and obsessing over a spectacle than he did on reading his daily briefings and working on national and international affairs. He had Independence Parties FOR the military, which he let the part planners plan.

Trump loves all the trappings of being president but clearly has no desire to do the hard work of being president. He’s out on his golf course for the umpteenth time. What is it, about a third of his days in office have been spent golfing at one of his resorts?

Nope. Your "friend" is wrong. The White House gets its own budget from Congress for entertaining that's completely separate from the National Parks' budget. Trump TOOK MONEY that had been allocated to the National Parks to feed his ego. And this after the National Parks lost over $10 million in fees during Trump's pointless government shutdown.
