Still waiting for pics or news coverage of all the damaged and destroyed DC streets from the tanks. Still waiting..........
I’m still waiting to see the pics or news coverage that more than a handful of people, and not Republicans with connections, got to see Trump’s tank display in front of the Lincoln Memorial that cost the NPS more than $2 million of revenue it can’t afford to give up. Still waiting...
I copied this from someone on FB and thought I'd share it here because it's spot-on: "I am so tired of these horrible articles that aren't appreciating all we have to celebrate on Independence Day. I am so grateful to my husband and all our military service members, and am proud of this. I have worked for 3 administrations, and the average cost of the 4th runs about 2 million (YES DURING OBAMA TOO) out of the NPS coffers. However, the cost of huge concerts on The White House South Lawn previously far exceeded the additional 500k that is being spent. So far on lawn parties, President Trump has saved over 1.5 million.. therefore he can do this 3x before he exceeds what was spent before. Before anyone argues "but those are different budgets" I point out that NO, the south lawn is a national park and taken care of by NPS... and the concerts previously were exclusive. This display is open to all. Myself and hundreds of people I know will be there happily, and I truly hope that anyone who enjoys the freedoms of this country will not wish KARMA on the pride that our military should be feeling on this special day. Shame shame shame on the news for this type of reporting."
Still waiting. No pics of regular Americans getting to see the military props?
I saw a B2, F22, F35, AH64, F18, V22, S93, and UH60s. I’m a pretty regular American. Consider yourself invalidated
