We'll whine about it for as long as we're being forced to pick up the bill for it. So brace yourself for a long ride.

I feel the same way about illegal immigration, Obamacare, and welfare for the physically able

Well said.

Where?

It happened where the thousands of ordinary Americans got to see the tanks up close at the Lincoln Memorial. There are as many pictures of the damage as there are of those Americans enjoying the multi-million dollar display of military props.

Post over 100 pics of the damage or admit you’re lying. Again.

Post over 100 pics of regular Americans (not soldiers) who got to get up close to the tanks an enjoy it. Or else admit they were multi-million dollar props for Trump.

Ah the VIP ticket holders. So what cost per person? My family from out of town had no ties the RNC and couldn’t get any where near them. Surely it would have been more populist to have put them outside the fence that kept the hoi polloi away from the VIP’s.

Don’t see any damage.
Maybe fake news cnn can doctor Some photos of London during the blitz and try to sell America that they’re pics of damage from trumps tanks?

^ Get over it already. You're trying too hard. Didn't you read that they did not put the tanks in the street parade? How many times do you have to be told that they limited this so that the streets would not be damaged?

The real damage is to the budget of DC for security (now in the red 1.7 million) and to the budget of the NPS where 2.5 million was taken from parks to pay for this. That's where the major damage is and all for some Republican VIPs to get close to a few tanks and listen to a crap speech. I'm sure you are upset that there wasn't a major riot to talk about so this is all you have. To be honest you look like a sanctimonious fool.

I guess a lot of people can't understand something if it's not in pictures like the people who never read books, but only looked at pictures. You are missing the story behind the pictures.

Ok so we saw pics of people next to them.

Now where are the streets that were torn up and metro tunnels that were collapsed?

Luckily for DC they only brought a couple of tanks and did not allow them to drive the tanks on the street. They were carefully transported to their stationary post on special vehicles so their treads didn’t ruin the roads. I am sure it was expensive for the DoD but thank goodness

Once you show us the tanks in the parade. Oh wait you can’t because some deep state military folks put a stop to Trump’s folly and made him accept having a stationary display behind a fence where only a handful of privileged connected Republicans could see it up close.

Re: the bolded - that's some impressive projecting on your part! You sound very, very angry that this 4th of July was a success, that people enjoyed themselves, and that Trump's speech was well-received, despite some verbal gaffes. It is YOU who is upset that there wasn't a major riot or snafu to ruin the day. Even the much-prayed for rain (I'm sure you were one of the DCUM nutcases hoping rain would ruin the day - sorry to disappoint!) didn't put much of a damper on the festivities.

As for "Republican VIPs," the people in the pictures are ordinary tourists, who enjoyed seeing tanks up close. They were open to visitors on July 3rd as well. https://www.pnj.com/story/news/politics/2019/07/03/4th-july-donald-trump-military-parade-tanks-seen-washington-dc/1637384001/

You really should look into anger management techniques. Looking like a "sanctimonious fool" is something you've perfected over the past few years.

But you don’t care about spending money on spectacles for Trump? You get mad at money going to the poor to improve lives but you’re a-okay with spending money on a party for the rich and powerful. Definitely a member of the GOP.

I don't recall you caring about the spending on Obama's 'spectacles'
