I am familiar with and driven both vehicles. Driving slowly down a road with said vehicles will not damage roads.

I think it’s great. Little kids will love to see these in person. People who aren’t familiar will see the equipment and men who get sent in their behalf to fight and sacrifice for America.

And I don’t want my kids growing up thinking America is a place that celebrates tanks in the streets.

There is a lot of money for toothbrushes. Or they could let people keep the toothbrushes and soap they have with them. The denial of basic hygiene is a punishment and a policy it's not due to lack of funding.

The 4th of July is a celebration of our proclaimed political philosophy. It is not a celebration of our awesome military power. The date is not the anniversary of the military victory that ended the Revolution. It is the anniversary of when we declared our dedication to liberty and justice. It's not a tank holiday.

It's true. People who work at the Pentagon had to cancel their leave/vacations to work all weekend planning this shitshow. The current acting Defense Secretary has no standing to push back against this like Mattis did.
