Ok so who is at fault for all of these issues and why do they seem determined to make the club less competitive? It makes no sense. Even if their goal is make money for themselves that isn’t going to last long if people get fed up and leave. The girls side is already in real trouble and it’s starting to negatively affect the boys side. Is there a board? How are they letting this happen?

I've been lurking round here for like 5 years and I have never seen barely a mention of Herndon either way until the past few months and then its just one thing after another. When a place deteriorates so rapidly, its usually someone doing something shady.

My kid is a 2010 and this is the most pitiful tournament we have ever been signed up for by far.

Also somehow our third 2010 team got out of paying for this-how? They aren't doing any other August tournaments either.

We paid a $565 team fee apparently for only 4 tournaments.

So we are each paying $141.25 to go play THE SAME TEAM WE SCRIMMAGED FOR FREE LAST SATURDAY and the same team we are playing in Dulles National next weekend? And a "TBD". And that's it. And these are our only two tournaments all fall? What BS.

They should give all the teams stuck with doing this another real actual fall tournament.

I wouldn't mind if we weren't paying so much per tournament.

If they counted it as a freebie, trying out a new tournament, great, whatever I'm in. But only getting 4 tournaments and this is one of the 4 is so sleazy ESPECIALLY if Lee is getting something for it personally. Why is he managing this tournament?

Thinking about taking a quick trip out of town that weekend instead!

141.25 x 16 players on a team is $2260 total per tournament. Team registration is $1125. No travel costs. Where did the other $1135.00 go?

I would say they owe you two more tournaments at least.

I guess I should have read the team offer more carefully. I knew the fees went up alot but didn't realize they only were paying for four tournaments, what ?

fees going up for fewer tournaments, that make no sense.

Last year both my dc's teams played 5 tournaments plus the state cup.

Its really unusual for HYS to have SO many teams in the same tournament (that isn't Dulles).

Some of the third and second boys teams managed to not get stuck with it (including JLC's third team).

I'm fine with my kid participating for the extra games but absolutely this should not count as a paid-for tournament. No way.

My kid’s team isn’t showing. Do I dare believe they came to their senses and realized this tournament isn’t a fit? I hope they let the team play a different one instead.
