Did they manage to find enough girls for next year to put all the teams in RL? Or is it a wish and a hope and nobody will know until the fall?

Actually people accepted an offer with Sterling Soccer in May to play on an NCSL team and then in August were told that they would be playing in ECNL-R up an age group and wearing Herndon jerseys. The whole thing was shady.

That part is shady, I agree. Herndon told their girls teams that they would be playing ECRL in their offers.

And if they hadn't put in girls team, would VPSL let them put in their boys teams? I don't think so.

Yeah except we accepted an offer for Sterling NCSL and ordered uniforms only to be told we were actually playing for Herndon ECNL-RL. Oh and you have to buy uniforms for them too. Oh and you'll have a horrible coach. Oh and you'll drive all over the place so your kids can somehow stay motivated getting slaughtered week after week for a team they don't belong on and never wanted to be on all while your coach treats you like absolute crap for losing while the club tries to gaslight you into wanting this amazing opportunity.

It sounds like you were screwed over by Sterling, not Herndon.

My DD received an offer for Herndon which did not say ECRL on it. If we accepted it (which we didn’t) we wouldn’t have known until after we put the deposit down.

Can't blame Herndon for Sterling selling you one thing then switching it up on you. Sterling doesn't do anything themselves, they act like they know it all and have the best coaching but their boys played in West Virginia and the girls in Herndon, so what does Sterling actually do? Recruit and feed you BS

Does anyone know the status of the U15 girls? I hear they don’t have enough girls so they’re having kids play 2-4 years up.

That's one of the teams that Sterling is running.

Insane. Playing two years up is not appropriate for the vast majority of kids. Four years up is just cruel. Who would sign on for that?

No one was playing up 3-4 years, but there were a good number of girls playing up 1-2.

I'm guessing they don't want another year of hell with a nightmare coach that costs even more.

Right? This year has been absolutely horrible and the coach is appalling. Who would want to come back for more of that with the same coach plus pay more?
