I dabbled in this for a short time. My observation: there are way WAY more willing girls than men willing to pay for them. The cute college girls are 5k a month and in super high demand. That gets you a date or two a week. When you want to break up it's usually the girl who is more upset.

To complete the story, she was working full time and going to school full time. The sugaring let her quit her job and focus on school. Her words, 3 hours with me which she enjoyed vs 32 hours a week at a job she hated.

If you're in shape with a cool job, it's pretty easy to just get a GF that age from the apps. You're still paying for it: dinners, travel, events, etc. and no one has any illusions it will last.

Covid has been a boon because I've focused on hikes and evenings at my house, but that's an anomaly.
