Where is that?

It's unfortunate that they likely won't get a lot of out of region match-ups to test themselves on a more national level. They only have one position that isn't truly top notch but they have so much everywhere else it may not matter.

Not sure how much of their talent will translate to the next level though. Lot of the girls look slow and way too skinny. And seem to like running through double and triple teams.

As far as I know, every senior is committed - so the "next level" coaches obviously think their talent translates...

And what position isn't truly top notch? If you are going to drop that statement, fill in the blanks

Is it possible for any thread on girls lacrosse on here not to result in bullying a child?

Has anyone else heard this rumor about ISL saying no championship or season this spring, following the league's ruling on fall and winter competition? Or is this just sideline scuttle?

SR, SSSAS and Visi are all registered for the March indoor league; have not heard about the regular spring season.

And BI and St Johns too

St James league week 1 results -
SSAS 11 BI 8
SR crushed SJC 16-2
GC 13 Visi 10 - upset??

This is gonna come down to SSSA v SR. Can the handful of top level talent at SR beat the depth and talent at SSSA.

the coaches of SSSAS kept subbing out their best players at the StJ today. No way KJ ever does that in the regular season. If they had played the best line-ups the whole game, it would have looked like the SR/SJC score.

Do you have to be a STJ member to watch? Or a parent of a player?

um didn’t the SSSA “best line-up” lose to SR? I don’t believe subs were in that game?

Parent. Games are also streamed but you have to pay $10 for it.

Possibly, but BI was also missing two of their best players and they aren't as deep so that matters. SSSA definitely has a lot of talented individual players but not sure if they will actually play like a team this spring.

Last time SSSA played it was daddy coaching, not someone with any experience at all - even yesterday, they were coached by a mommy and a daddy who never played varsity HS lax let alone NCAA D1 or D3 lax. So, agree with the PP that the game should have a different complexion than simply playing "little Susie's best friend" versus who should actually be on the field. And also agree with the other PP if they don't play down to their competition or don't play as a team then yes SR will definitely beat SSSA. Although draw and goalkeeping should slightly favor SR, the depth on the other side is pretty overwhelming across all three field positions, and would agree that SSSA didn't play its top ACC or Big 10 commits much against BI or the score would have been much more lop-sided even with BI missing a key offensive player.
