| IAC AD's did put forth a plan shortly after the school year started. 3 seven week seasons starting with Winter sports Jan 4, Fall sports begin Feb 22, Spring sports begin April 12. Schools, parents and players should receive an update right before or just after Winter Break. |

I've been told Winter sports are entirely off the table.
There is a small chance Fall sports might take place in March / early April. Our schools AD seems optimistic there is a good chance there will be Spring sports from mid April - early June. |

This is from SSSAS e-mail communication:
“We know that this news will be disappointing to our winter athletes and all those that treasure watching our Saints compete. We will continue with winter sports team practices when we return in January and hope to provide additional opportunities for our athletes to train in this next seven week period. We hope to explore opportunities for competition in February should health conditions allow. At this time our plan is to transition to fall sports at the conclusion of the winter sports period, followed by spring. We continue to be committed to supporting team-based activities that are essential to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our students.” |

What happened to the current/prior coach? I'm surprised a school as prestigious as Landon would need to resort to posting job description to get a strong candidate. How about all the ML and other club players (and their parents) who committed to Landon? This has to be big impact on them (unless they were aware the team was without a coach when they committed/enrolled)? |

Most involved with the program were not shocked by the news.
It will be interesting to see if Landon goes internal or if they conduct a National search as a replacement. |
