Unclear, they have to be present to vote - not looking good for Amy COVID Barrett.

Very little. If she gets it and is not able to attend might be the only thing that will delay.

Not true at all. If all 10 of the Democrats on the Judicial committee refuse to attend, the Judicial committee will not be able to hold a vote. The Senate Judiciary Committee requires 7 members to hold discussions. However, the Committee requires 9 members including 2 from the minority party to hold official business. That means that while the Judiciary can discussion the nomination, they will not be able to interview Judge Barrett or hold an actual vote on whether to send the candidate to the full Senate with none of the Democratic members in attendance.

III. QUORUMS

1. Seven Members of the Committee, actually present, shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of discussing business. Nine Members of the Committee, including at least two Members of the minority, shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of transacting business. No bill, matter, or nomination shall be ordered reported from the Committee, however, unless a majority of the Committee is actually present at the time such action is taken and a majority of those present support the action taken.

Lindsey Graham is the Senate Judiciary committee majority leader. He’s on South Carolina television sweating like a stuck pig. You can’t tell me this man isn’t Covid-19 positive.

Ohh and the Senate Democrats released a challenge to the ACB hearings today.

The GOP is getting hit left-and-right.

And not go home to their own vulnerable election campaigns? The R Senators are vulnerable, now more so than ever that Dear Leader is Covid-19 positive and those QAnon nuts can no longer call it a hoax.

Of course they can! Never doubt conspiracy theorists; they’re super creative!

The GOP is getting obliterated in their home states. There are 35 seats up for re-election, if they don't want to lose their majority by a considerable margin they'll be on the campaign trail every day during a two-week recess from October 12th.

Can’t wait to welcome the future Senator Harrison to DC!

Amy Klobuchar is appointed in recess appointment. Harris/Whitmer wins 2024 election, Kavanaugh is forced to resign for metoo reasons. Preet Bahara becomes first Asian-American Justice.

This gave me chills. From your mouth to God's ears!

Wait - who loses their seat in the 2022 midterms or did you mean the DNC loses the House majority?

As for Harris/Whitmer in 2024...umm what happened to Biden?

In this fantasy he doesn't take a second term? I'm not sold on whitener either but it's basically a good fantasy. Also Mitch gets defeated

Twitter has been quite vocal about Lady G getting his ass handed to him in the debate tonight. Go Jaime Harrison!

Jaime Harrison was READY. Graham had no idea what hit him.

Seems like Amy and family are not isolating. To not isolate after being near COVID positive people is not good.

Do why doesn't Schumer instruct all Dems to boycott hearings until all members have negative Covid tests, including nominee.

This is common sense!

October 12th is Monday. Don’t they go on recess?

Unfortunately there’s a workaround in this case that is under McConnell’s control.

They are hoping for a few more Covid positives. This nomination isn’t great for vulnerable republicans.

RBG is Jewish, and Jews believe in heaven. As a moral person, she most certainly is in heaven right now.
