Today, none of that can fly. If you aim for aspirational beauty norms today, you cannot have pores. You cannot have breasts pointing down, no matter what size. No part of your body is allowed to jiggle at all. You must have muscles. Your teeth must be perfectly straight and white. You cannot have an ounce of fat anywhere on your body. Any of these would kick you out of the beauty ranks. In other words, you are not allowed to be imperfect or to age.

I think older women look much, much better than they did in years past.

J Lo is turning the big 5-0 in a few short months & does not look a day over 35.

Martha Stewart is 67 & is still one of the most beautiful women in her generation.

Paris Hilton + Kim Kardashian do not seem to be in their late 30’s, but they are.

Marilyn Monroe and Lana Turner were true Silver Screen beauties of their time.
Yet neither aged very well.

The two detriments to beauty today are the mass popularity of tattoos and plastic surgery.

And to see a young Kylie Jenner transform her entire face st get eighteen is disheartening.

People like to say this, but it’s unlikely that these older women would look nearly as good without the work. Since we can’t visit an alternate timeline where they are the same age without surgery, we can’t see how much better they look compared to what they would have. We can only compare them to how they looked when they were young.

This is a non- answer but there are more ways to improve your looks (cosmetics, plastic surgery, access to working out or knowledge of healthy foods) or destroy your looks (tattoos, bad plastic surgery, access to fast/unhealthy foods) these days.

Some people use recent technology/access/education to improve themselves and some do not. YMMV depending on your addictions, values, priorities.

This is why many men love Black women. We can be in our 40s and 50s and not look a day over 30/35. We age very well.

I’ve noticed that my white female colleagues instantly age 10 years when they have a child. Seen this happen with my own eyes, even to the most attractive looking white women. Not sure why this happens though.

They are out there and while the minority of older women you can find them. Attractiveness doesn't mean compatibility.

Definitely in the past. Plastic surgery queens have made butt implants and big lips injections so popular. NOthing is real anymore. Women are obsessed with the gym for a bigger ass. Women were actually in proportion back then.
