Were about #5 when we got in last week. We love it so far. |
My number has dropped from 21 to 13 this morning, so I guess the email had an effect. Still seems unlikely. |
sent to my husband and not me so just saw it. Just checked and we are 10. Don't knwo where we started. Still seems unlikely as an earlier poster said. |
I callled today and they said there is only one spot open now and an offer is pending. So I am not getting my hopes up. Of course there could be another spot opening later... |
Thank you! I'll put it out of my mind then. Medium happy where we are. |
Where are you now? ITS is not one of our very topmost choices, but it seems best to grab it while we have the chance.. |
| We gave up a K spot today so there’s hope! |
Gave it up for what? |
Do you mean you declined an offer, or you were enrolled and just left? |
| We are in the single digits, but I'm not getting my hopes up. There's always the possibility of being bumped back by siblings of new admits in other grades. And the people who are getting offers now have not-so-great lottery numbers, so they probably don't have a lot of other options to consider. We lotteried for every HRCS in the area around ITS and you need a well-above-average number to get into any of them. |
| Wow it dropped three more spots this morning. |
But someone's got to fall to #1 on the list and not get a call. I hope it's me so I don't have to make a decision. |
What # are you now? |
single digits but not below 5. we probably won't take it because sibling wouldn't get in this year and we don't want two drop offs. Our pull for the lottery was not at all good, so surprised we made it down this far. I guess it just comes from the way IT fills spots in August and September rather than in June and July like every other school |
I guess. I am a little freaked out by how it is dropping like a stone and none of my other schools are moving much at all. I am sick over how it would break DC's heart to leave our IB. I feel like we have to, but it is way harder than I thought it would be. |
