For others in long term affairs-- do you think you'll get caught? Did you get caught? How?

I'm sorry you had to see that. I've never understood why someone who cheats would do it in their own home, for this reason among several others.

The element of the forbidden and being naughty is half of what makes an affair exciting for some cheaters. Doing it at home adds many points to the naughty factor.

I suppose it is naughty to do it at home. But that isn't my motivator for having ap over our house. It is cheap. It is easy. It doesn't oddly probably more discreet. It is convenient and I am always where I say I am.

You should probably stop.

Yes I should. But for the first time in a long time someone makes me feel desired and sexual, which doesn't happen at home. I tell myself I its not cheating because we have never even touched each other but I know it is wrong. I feel very conflicted but loneliness and sexual frustration is hard.

I get it, but you need to stop before the affair fog sets in. It's still really hurtful.

Oh, and get his testosterone levels checked.

No effing way! Just, nonchalantly told you? What happened after it came out?

My spouse was excellent as covering his tracks. Real pro. His OW was not. Her H found out and he told me. He sent me screenshots of their text conversations. I confronted him and he denied, denied, and denied. I was in shock for about a week. I went and told all our friends and family. He lied to them about the affair so I sent them the screenshots. He was enraged and was acting like the victim. I divorced him and he had to own up to his affair. His family refused to listen to his lies and called him out on his crap. I am very thankful I was told because I might still be living a lie.

He was sloppy - not lipstick on the collar sloppy; more like he didn't have the self-control to deceive me as well, a few explanations didn't line up, and he was caught. In hindsight, I think he wanted to be caught (to get my attention and to get away from an increasingly attached OW).

The OW knew that I found out. She thinks she told her DH many months later, but he knew long before that (I told him when I found out) and he just didn't let on.

You guys are still together? How long ago was this?

That you OW?

People know they just aren't motivated to say anything, yet.

+1 I know someone who I suspect is cheating. Others suspect it as well. I'm pretty certain she doesn't think anyone has a clue. She also posts a lot of happy photos with her husband. I think she thinks he's too passive/clueless. But I think it's only a matter of time before it comes out.

She's risking a lot, too. Not just her marriage. But she thinks she is smarter than everyone else. She's a fool.

You need to inform her DH ASAP. He deserves to know. Wouldn’t you want someone to tell you? Expose these people!

Why do you want to expose other people's affairs or care whether someone else does?

Nothing happened right then and there, we both got into our respective cars and went off. What happened at home was all the expected unpleasantness.
