Panera Bread is so gross, how did this place ever become a "thing"?

A single burger at Elevation is 330 calories.

what’s with the chicken in the salads? It’s repulsive. And the sandwiches are literally like, kraft triangles on wonder bread. Horrible.

I love their chicken frontera panini.

Okay we get it. You can stop commenting over and over now.

While a lot of Panera is that way, not all of it is. And they post the calorie counts of their food right on the menu board. If you are looking to cut calories, you can find options that are 300-500 calories for a meal. There are soup and salad combinations with an apple instead of bread that will keep you under 400 or 500 calories. You can't find that at McD's, BK or Wendy's. And you most definitely aren't finding that at 5Guys and the gourment burger places (Elevation Burger and such).

A cheeseburger, small fries and a small Coke at McDonald’s is 660 calories.

SUre but how many people order a small fry and small coke? Most order medium meals.

Love Panera! Every one has different tastes, so if you don't like it, don't go there. I like it and am happy to eat there.

It's garbage empty calorie not fresh at all fast food. The meal you paid $25 for isn't worth $5.

Sorry but again, I don't find $25 expensive for two meals and drinks.

So in addition to their calorie fat & sodium bomb meals, you take their sugar bomb drinks too. Yikes.

Lmao Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realize getting 2 water bottles with our meals was a sugar bomb. You seem overly angry with Panera lmao move on

You drink water out of a plastic bottle? ? Environment? Endocrine disrupting chemical bath??
Do people still do that?

Lmao you lunatic. I sure do!!! Even buy 24 packs for my house. Oh well

Are you a shareholder? It's not the same person over and over. People hate the place.

Do you want to be fat? Because eating a bready sandwich every day will make you fat.

Go back to your Soul Cycle and Larabars.

Aren't larabars another empty calorie sugar bomb marketing themselves as a health food?

Plus at Panera you can get soups and salads with vegetables, even if they are pre-packaged.

Coffee sucks, sandwiches on par with airport refrigerators, dry bread, microwaved soups from a bag. And it's sort of expensive!

Haven’t eaten there since an ER visit after one meal. Realized I don’t miss anything except unlimited hot tea refills.

I worked at one in college in the late 90's and it used to be so good. Does anyone remember those brownies they used to have with caramel and pecans on top?? And the pastry ring was so addictive. It's so sad that now it so mass produced and gross.

They used to be much better

It’s not about price, it’s about value.
