Barbara Comstock, you’re next!

Hope she makes the most out of her last year in office.

I am motivated by her vote for this travesty of a tax bill to get involved politically for the first time, ever. I intend to canvas for her opponent and donate to her opponent. I will make it a personal goal to see Comstock ousted from office.

Swing left actually had an act blue page to raise money for challengers to Republicans in swing seats who voted for the tax bill #notonepenny

+1 likely knows she may lose the next election and is lining up next job

Maybe Roy Moore will hire her.

On her resume, she should mention that she worked at Fair Oaks Mall. That will get her hired.

Or mention that she has underage granddaughters.

What a stinker. Her district will be hit hard by the loss of SALT...

Just another reminder that she's not working FOR the people who sent her there with their votes, but for herself and her big donors. Bye Felicia!

I'm a Democrat and some components of these tax plans are good and others are awful. Just like the ACA. Bottom line though is tax plans can be changed once made into law. Components can be changed. Impacts of poorly conceived portions of the ACA? Co-mingling created a masterful web of issues.

The mix of illegal immigration and my party creates a problem that is harder to rectify than changing any enacted portions of taxes.

So I am not donating. Plus I am reeling that pedophiles who did their time get to vote in VA.

She's never been about her constituents. It's always been to interact with constituents as little as possible and hang out with her rich friends and donors. Good to know she's going to get dumped.

It’s really pretty shocking, the amount of dislike that has developed against her in her district (where I live) in the last year. The election of Trump, her waffling on Obamacare, and only voting against after it became clear the votes were not there, and the tax bill, which kills her district have all been really unpopular.

I’m surprised she hasn’t been one of the members of Congress announcing their retirement.

Are you one of the DCCC trolls being paid to post against Barbara here or are you for real? There's no shift in dislike against her at all. And I live in 10th congressional district too. We all know the DCCC and PACs are going to be putting a lot of time and money into the next election which isn't even for a year - that's why you are reading these hits here - which all sound the same and come in sporadically and then in three miinute hits after. These are trolls working in boiler DCCC boiler rooms starting this junk up against all Republicans who are up in Nov. 2018. No one in the district really cares at this point. There's no activity and no signs. That will start soon, but threads like this are meaningless troll work by the Dems.

Hers is a very gerrymandered district, originally designed to remain Republican. Includes Great Falls and the "Langley" part of McLean, as well as Clifton/Fairfax Station in Fairfax County, most of Loudoun County, and areas further west like Winchester.

Her big problem is that Loudoun isn't Republican territory any more. With all the growth, and the anti-Trump sentiments in areas like Ashburn and South Riding, a credible Democratic candidate should be able to take her seat next year. Her vote on the ridiculous Republican tax bill should be the final nail in the coffin. Her district has a higher percentage of residents taking the deduction for SALT than any other Republican, and she just threw them all under the bus.
