Bingo. Also, it's not that pornography is doing some disgusting stuff, it's that there's a market out there that seeks out this "disgusting stuff". |
Many of these films are made offshore specifically so that there is no liability and no age limit. Those justifying it as a legitimate industry are in lala land.

PP with friends in the industry here. Yes, the industry is always looking for new faces, so the shelf-life of an actress is short. I don't see a problem with this -- surely they know it. Just like a football player knows their career is lucky to last 3 years in pro football. The women know how much they will get paid for one scene. They can turn it down or get another job if they don't like the money. They are not being forced to take the job. If she leaves without "making much money", she isn't choosing the right job. As for many women being victims of sexual abuse in the past, I don't doubt that, but the industry isn't and shouldn't screen for it, just like other employers don't screen for it. People make decisions in their life which we may not agree with, but they are making it of their own free will and legally. |
Wrong. Content providers outside the US only deal with 18+ models also. Why would they risk getting in huge trouble by using an under-18 model? The sites in the US that buy their content wouldn't touch the stuff. There's no business reason to do so, and besides, there are plenty of 18+ people out there to hire. |
Women from Bethesda don’t do this? Hahahahaha! Go over to FFXU and see the ongoing threads about women from FFX county who do this. If it was Bethesda Underground you’d have a similar list. If you want to participate in the real world, please take your blinders off. |
while I would never want my DD to enter the porn industry, this PP is exactly right. What many folks (women) conveniently overlook is that the the vast majority of women who enter into the porn industry, do so by choosing to do it. Do they have the education and/or other skills that will gain them meaningful employment elsewhere? probably not. but that goes back to the choices they make for themselves. |
There was a thread a week ago about who has been a sugarbaby (got paid for sex) while in college. It was surprising how many DCUMers have done it. Were they all sexually abused, exploited, etc? |
You obviously haven't been to many "resort" islands and cities in south and central America and Asia where bars are literally crawling with pimps and pubescent girls who will do anything. |
No, they don't know this. The other poster posted about girls getting into a "career" in the industry which would make them $150 K, which is laughable. A grown man believes this, you don't think an 18 year old from rural Kentucky would believe the same thing? The women have little to none negotiation power. This is not an industry that rewards experience, so if you don't want to do that scene, or feel uncomfortable with the acts expected it- too bad, you do it, You are watching these girls essentially live out their trauma. They are being retraumatized and performing the sex acts they were taught by their abusers early in life. A normal, healthy person finds this sickening, you seem to be, unsurprisingly, numb and blasé about it. When you jerk off and enjoy someone who is making a horrific decision, such as in the metaphor of me paying a homeless man to knock out his teeth, you are a horrible person. And regulatory boards should step in to prevent me from regularly approaching people and knocking out their teeth while filming it. |
Yes. Women from nice backgrounds, by and large, don't do this. FFX county is very different. |
And women hate men. See how that works? Can we stop with the male bashing. All MEN are not bad, evil people, just as all women are not bad, evil people. These individuals are sick but it does no good for you and your kind to continue to lump all men into your problematic view of the world. STOP IT. |
Sigh. |
Men need to stop watching porn where women are hurt and abused and that is part of the appeal. If women were watching and getting off to men being hurt, abused, violated, humiliated- yes, you bet there would be stories about it. I'm not gonna stop, and I'm not gonna shut up. I'm gonna fight. |
Maybe so, but they're not filming porn. The industry doesn't want to touch any under-18 stuff at all, because it's highly illegal and not worth losing their business over. |
I think you got it reversed. These films (hurt and abuse) exist because there's a market for it. Some men, but not all, are just disgusting like that and they inherently get pleasure out of watching these vids. |
