Same here. We (white people) used to live in a majority Dominican and black neighborhood and were just fine. As to white culture, I believe we had more in common with our neighbors than, say, with rural whites, of whom I know exactly zero.

the various groups: blacks, Asians, Hispanics are not necessarily all on the same page with respect to pursuing their interests. :
Put another was, "minorities" doesn't describe a monolithic group.
I remember reading about the conflicts on the Dallas school board which was all black and Hispanic. No whites were even present and the two groups couldn't agree on anything.

Agree. I see us slipping closer and closer to a third world country. I have friends who are positively giddy over the US not being a majority white country in the future. I ask them what non majority white country do they want the US to be like. Since they're always talking about how great the Scandinavian countries are and how the US should be more like them this usually throws them for a loop.

Honestly if the US immigration system was designed to be skill based I wouldn't have nearly as many concerns, but flooding the US with uneducated third worlders is not going to go well.

America has been flooded with "uneducated third worlders" for centuries. It's an apt description for the lives of large swaths of American-born cititzens living in the US right now. And by numbers, the majority is white.

What is the point of this thread? It has the same tone as recruitment for terrorist organizations. Find people who feel oppressed by the society they live in, convince them it's a large plan for their extinction, recruit them to fight against it.

If you're not convinced that we're all going down together, you're part of the problem.
