NP. What magical land do you live in where food arrives instantaneously? When i order from ubereats it usually takes 40 minutes or so to arrive at my apartment. I think the fastest ever was 20-30 and that was for ice cream.

Also, not everyone plows through their food at lightening speed. Talk about unhealthy!

Wake up slightly earlier, travel in well before the rush hour. Workout and get ready at the gym early in the morning, then walk to your office.

2-3 hours of commuting per day. Sweet Jesus. Wait until you see the monkey wrench having kids will throw into your day.

I'll keep my close-in 1100 square footer, thanks.

5:30-6:30 - wake up, shower, eat breakfast
6:30-7:30 - commute to work
7:30-4:30 - work
4:30-6:00 - commute home
6:00-7:00 - make dinner, eat, digest (ideally leftovers)
7:00-8:00 - workout, shower
8:00-10:00 - relax then sleep!

It's tough but manageable! I'd say wake up earlier, prepare meals ahead of time, and/or find a new job!

This is almost exactly my schedule, except my workout is usually at 8.

Same here, when I was single and without kids. I went to the gym every night at 8 pm, after dinner.

I have kids, and I hit the gym at 8, after dinner and bedtime.

OP, I pondered your dilemma on the treadmill this week, and this is what I came up with:

Aim for hard workouts twice during the week, and both weekend days. If you are going hard four days per week, this is sufficient exercise.

Join a gym near your office. One of the days, wake up early, do your commute (which will be faster because it's pre-rush hour), go straight to the gym, work out, shower, go to work.

The other day, tack this on to the end of the day. Your commute will be faster because you'll be post-rush hour.

Run outside in the morning on Saturday and Sunday. Then do some push-ups and planks.

This way, you're only giving up one night of "getting comfy", spending two hours on dinner, and watching TV.
