DC resident and agree I never I stand these posts. You would think DC schools test scores were blowing PGCS score out of the water, but they are not. |
| PG County aftercare is significantly more expensive, there is no PK3. If a parent works in the city DC is a good option. |
50/50 custody means kids can to school in either jurisdiction. |
Photographer was probably a pedophile using school school residency as a cover. Taking pictures of somebody's kid is for perverts |
you are so wrong. Do you write fiction for a living. You can have cars registered in different states. Many people with vacation homes or multiple homes do just that. When you add the car on your insurance you're asked where will The car be housed and registered. You are correct about the drivers license, but car registration and driver license are two separate issues. |
Disagree. It's very funny. Your humor radar is whacked. Keep At it PPP |
The parents Should have turned around and started taking pictures of bored mom' kids, and any and everything else of hers. |
She said, she feels sorry that your children have such an insecure mom who overcompensates by picking on elementary children. Bully. |
We now know that among other things, you no nothimg about taxes |
It can't be more than YY and similar charters. I know, I paid the fee for six years. Expensive |
Residency fraud is flat out wrong. It needs to stop, and yeah I'd say it's rampant. Why don't you idiot WoTPers come over here EoTP to a Title 1 school and see the free for all with free extended day and free food all day. It's a hell of deal, especially for a Md. resident working in the city who doesn't give a hoot about quality education but just wants a free place to park their kid all day. You dumb WoTPers are paying for it in tax dollars; keep denying, whatever, it's your money up in smoke.

"Byron, I think you're right. Closing the borders to these Maryland tax cheats is the only thing that makes sense."
"Well, Cindy, sure. But you have to realize that these Marylanders aren't the only tax cheats. What about people who have multiple children?" "I'm afraid I can't follow. Why is that an issue?" "Do they pay more taxes for each child?" "Why no, Byron, unless we're counting sales tax for diapers...." "And yet, these breeding tax leeches are taking up valuable space in our nation's Capitol's preschool programs! And you know they're all getting the free lunch and breakfast." "Surely not all of them, Byron! I think some of the wotp families probably pack their own lunches." "But you see my point, Cindy? These people are leeches! They Pat the same of less tax and they breed two or three or six resource-takers!" "No, Byron! I do not see your point! How dare you compare someone's right to have children when they are affluent, with residency cheaters from Prince George county! Only in the latter example are your sweeping assumptions and generalizations true..." "But taxes, Cindy, taxes?" "I'm not even sure there are taxes in PG county. But not in a good, free market way." "The important thing here is that people are liars and cheats. And we know this because we have seen cars with Maryland plates and children in them, driving in DC." "Maybe some kind of rush hour border check would make sense, Byron?" "But what about private school children?" "From PG? Surely there are none." |
Cry me a river. You don't have any rights if you're a residency cheat and no rights to peacefully breaking the law. It's pretty simple. If you're a cheat, I hope there are plenty of people photographing you, shaming you, and reporting you. If you have a legit reason for dropping off your kids with an out of state plate, then you will have no problem proving your legit residency. In fact, if you are following the law, you'd be eager to show that you're abiding by the law. The ONLY people who have trouble with people reporting possible residency cheats are the CHEATERS themselves. |
You missed the point. What if they AREN'T and you are violating people's rights. The children are the ones being violated. Think!

"Cindy, the thing is, if someone has Maryland plates and drops a child off at a school, they have no rights. No rights at all."
"Don't they have the right to an attorney, Byron?" "You think they can afford one? I mean, Maryland plates!" "Of course they can afford one! Think of all the money they are saving in with free daycare!" |
