| It not illegal to take pictures of people who are in public spaces. Odd and a poor use of time - yes. But not illegal. |
Yeah yeah, name the school or it didn't happen. |
You think taking a picture is "violating" a child? You need to grow up. |
Where does your child attend school. Maybe someone or two would like to begin taking your children's picture. Just for shits and giggles, or to put them on social media beside a picture of you with a nice so flattering allegation, or for some other nefarious reason(s). After all, you don't have a problem with some stranger photographing your minions, right? |
These are the same women that would be up in arms if someone took a photo of their child. |

I guess we shouldn't mention the Maryland tags seen at drop off to JKLM schools. That should really chafe your a** that Maryland residents are getting into some of the best performing schools in DC that DC residents are shut out off via lottery. |
| The families have no rights. A person has no expectation of privacy in public. Obey the law regarding residency and you won't have a guilty conscience. |
HAHAHA Do a search for Bradbury Heights Elementary. Yes some PG schools are horrible and make the DC schools shine in comparison. |
There are exceptions but not the rule. No parent is driving from Capitol Heights, Md all the way over to Chevy Chase. Now what you should be talking about is the amount of DC students using addresses to attend a MoCo school. silence, right. |
Families definitely do this commute. |
And then DCPS says that because Deal is crowded they have to kick long-feeding elementary schools like John Eaton out of Deal. Seems that MD kids are Deal-worthy but not DC kids. |
At least MoCo puts resources behind ferreting out residency fraud, as they should. And no one is talking about "rights" or "special relationships" or "traditional ties" for kids from a "Ward 9." |
It's mostly caused by wanting free stuff in DC, like free DCPS aftercare. |
