As a 45 year old skinny woman, should I just give up on ever finding a man who isn't fat?

When are you going to become an interesting human being with something to offer besides being naturally skinny (which is no credit to you personally)?

Someone hit the nail on the head.

I always found it incredibly ironic that as women age and their value on the sexual marketplace diminishes, their pickiness only increases.

True for some men and some women. Men often do not adjust their expectations downward as they age either.

Stop projecting. Lots of 45 year old people still look pretty damned good.

Lots? Maybe 1/100 look OK. But they don't look as good as they did at 25. 45 is OLD. Men and women at 45+ are not sexually attractive.

As a 45 year old skinny woman, you need to look for a 55+ year old skinny or fit man. So, look for where the old and/or AARP eligible skinny / healthy guys hang out.

Are we sure OP isn't a troll?

Her last comment about fat people on planes seemed very random and intended to inflame people on the board lol.

In any case, this thread is hilarious. I'm enjoying it.

The sex claim is completely wrong. Even seniors are sexually active, as long they find partners. Check this:

I'm a 54 year old man, 5 ' 11 inches, and 175 lbs...so we're out there.

Of course I'm married to a 52 year old woman who is 40 pounds overweight, not a thin exercise nut. I chose her because she's smart, funny, and just a wonderful woman. You should try that OP.

I'm 44, thin and in good shape, blah, blah.

I'm in a relationship with a 51 year old man who is probably 20 (30?) pounds overweight. Doesn't matter one bit. This guy is incredible - so kind, generous and funny, the sex is amazing. He really makes me happy and vice-versa. My advice: be open-minded.

You sound like a great guy PP! (I'm not the OP, but she should follow your advice.)

you seem pathetic and shallow ... kind of sad and depressing that you orient your life around this.

I'm not thin (not fat either) but I'm sure I could make your toes curl ...
