As a 45 year old skinny woman, should I just give up on ever finding a man who isn't fat?

I mentioned my fitness routine because it is a simple and effective basic calisthenics routine I do every other day, that doesn't take up a lot of my time. I exercise because that allows me the strength and stamina to stay active with recreational activities like kayaking, swimming, and walking my dog.

Most would have just said "I work out regularly".

OP here again. I guess as I age, more and more of my peers are overweight and out of shape, especially the men. They haven't given birth, either. They're just not willing to make any time for exercise to stay fit.

Americans are overweight and obese. Commercial after commercial makes it seem normal that people are on diets.

You keep saying this. You're obsessed with the topic, judgmental and belligerent in general. These characteristics are why you are single and no one wants you. Not so much your butter face.

That's a completely bizarre reply to my post.

Where are you from originally? I'm thinking you're not American

There are a lot of men out there who don't seem to realize that they have to keep themselves looking fit and trim. IMO, even more so than women- cause when women get larger, we get bigger breasts and butts. Men do too, but women are SUPPOSED to have them. LOL.

The majority of Americans as they age are just too fat!

You mean, they're too fat for you! I don't mind a man with some extra poundage but you, clearly, do.

Thanks for the chuckle.

I am healthy. I exercise regularly. I have a daily dozen exercises I do every other day, like 3 sets at 12 to 20 reps each of basic calisthenics, like squats, lunges, push ups, sit ups, biceps curls, etc. I walk my dog about 4X a day. I kayak. I swim. I enjoy being active. I also like to enjoy a nice meal or appetizers out once or twice a week.

After my mid 20s, it just seems like people are so heavy. The best sex and relationship I ever had was with a man who was in the Honor Guard at Arlington Cemetery. He was fit and trim. It is challenging to say the least to find a man who is naturally thin.

4 times a day to walk your dog? Do you work?

I walk my dog 4xs a day and work. Morning, noon, 5pm, and before bed.

I work primarily from home.

Maybe you come off as up tight and way to regimented...meaning by 45 you're stuck in your ways? That's what I'm getting from your posts

If judging by size/shape alone between women who are 20 to 30lbs above 'ideal' weight and those who are at the bottom of the weight scale for their height I would take the 20/30 over.

You do, however, seem a bit obsessed with exercise, or you wouldn't have detailed your exercise regimen here (where your question was ostensibly about men and their fitness).

I don't usually wade into this stuff, but love how OP says she goes out for "appetizers."

And who walks a dog four times a day?

And who cares? I think it's narcissism, and that's what's turning people off.

Op, You do not sound fun. You sound regimented and bitter.

Our wallets get fatter too, and that's what you really care about.

Yes!

I love nothing more than some moobs swinging over my body when we are having sexy time.

Bonus points for moobs on your back too.

Extra credit for a hairy back, flabby gut, and man boobs!

I run on the National Mall and there are a lot of people, mostly trim guys, running too. Sit on a bench and smile and one who appeals to you. (I'm married but I'll say hi.)
