OP, if we all have spiritual guides looking after us, why isn't it easier to communicate with them more directly (as opposed to going through a psychic/medium). Wouldn't there be less pain, confusion and suffering in the world?

OP, I would like to go for a reading today and would have to take my son with me for lack of a nanny this week. Is there any spiritual/metaphysical risk to children from being around psychics? I would not have her read him. Just me.

Who are the spiritual guides that look after those who face tragedy in this world? One example that comes to mind are those involved in Newtown. The innocent children, their families... What kind of agreement would these spiritual guides have made concerning these people pre-determined to face tragedy?

OP: I just read your opening post.

I was widowed when 23. My late spouse used to visit me every now and then...like every 6 months or so.

When I was on my last maternity leave (at 39), I think I felt my late spouse "say" to me that the visits were over, as I was doing fine, happy, healthy, had built a new family, but would return if needed.

Does that happen? I am a scientist by training but those visits,including that last one were so real.

Been nearly 2 years and no new visits.

Not the OP but I have studied up on astrology and visited advisors here and overseas. Yes there is such a thing as soulmates. However not everyone ends up marrying them.

OP how did you learn how to read tarot cards? by yourself? I have always wanted to but been afraid because I know some "talk" to spirits or saints when they do. I'm not sure if these spirits or saints are supposed to be my angel?

cultural superstitions? So you are defying native american superstitions and centuries old indian astrology? To not believe does NOT make you better but just close minded.
