Who said they have disdain for Jews? |
. Brain fart. Christian Arabs. My bad |
Above is what I wrote earlier. It turns out that my observation that a lot of garbage floats in the rightwing echo chamber was correct. Here is apparently the source of the "Christian Hizballah supporters" claim: http://freebeacon.com/national-security/cruz-headlines-conference-featuring-hezbollah-supporters/ Look at the sort of tenuous connections that are made: "Chagoury is also reportedly backer of Lebanese politician Michel Aoun, Hezbollah’s top Christian ally in the country," "Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Raï... defended Hezbollah’s right to attack the Jewish state" "Syriac Orthodox Church Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II posted photos from his meeting with a “high level delegation from Hezbollah” on his official Facebook page last week." ... "The group discussed the threats facing Christians the need for international intervention to combat ISIL, according to the Syriac Orthodox Church website." Yep, these guys are all card-carrying Hizballah members. My conclusion is that if Cruz knew about this article, and actually believed that it showed Hizballah ties, he is dumber that I ever expected. But, this is the sort of thing that passes as serious reporting among right-wingers. I'm sure our resident Tea Partier will be along shortly to claim that this article provides irrefutable proof that "In Defense of Christians" is little more than a Hizballah front organization. |
Oh man, clueless! +1 |
Agreed. There is a difference between Israel the nation and the Jewish people. But of course if you think they're one and the same, you're not very well educated. |
You've been wrong many times in the past, because you blow things off as stupid due to arrogance. I can assure you, Cruz is not stupid The Lebanese diplomat walked out. That speaks volumes on its own |
Why do you think the diplomat walked out and what do you think it means? You keep mentioning it without explaining what you believe to be it significance. I think he left because he was offended by Cruz. What do you think? Related, aren't you embarrassed to have believed that article? |
| Why was he offended by Cruz? Because he hates Jews and Israel. When someone is a diplomat and behaves like that, he needs to go |
He was offended because he represents a country that has been repeatedly attacked by Israel and Cruz called Israel the greatest friend of Christians. As a diplomat, he has to represent all Lebanese and -- as was seen -- not even the Christians consider Israel their greatest friend. But, you once again avoided explaining what you think was significant about his leaving. |
When did he walk out? Was it before or after Cruz said he would not stand with them? |
|
You, Jeff, are coming from a position of understanding of Hamas and Hezbollah. That's why you can't see it - won't see it. Might I suggest you watch Evan Sayet's video 'How Liberals Think'. You just might see yourself in his words

You repeatedly mentioned that the diplomat walked out. What was significant about that? This is not a hard question. Why can't you answer it? |
Before |
I did. Please read |
