He was offended because he represents a country that has been repeatedly attacked by Israel and Cruz called Israel the greatest friend of Christians. Exactly. How classless and stupid of Cruz to turn an event about helping the Middle East's Christians into an event that makes the already marginalized and oppressed group look like even more of the fifth column extremists treat them as by trying to turn their event into a pro-Israel rally.
