How long did it take you to conceive and what was your age

I was 29 and my boyfriend was 27 and we weren't trying. Ooops. I was on the Pill but I had just switched for the regular Ortho Tri Cyclen to the low dose version. Apparently, it was too low dose for my system. I freaked out that I had damaged the fetus since I kept taking the Pill for a few weeks until I found out I was pregnant. I also racked my brain to remember if I had had anything to drink during that time. I am sure if I TRY to conceive #2, I probably won't be able to.

1st, I was 32 yo and DH was 38 and it took 6 mos
2nd I was 35 and DH was 41 and it took us 5 mos

the ovulation tests from CVS (urine sticks) worked well for us.

First:
Me, 37, DH 40- 1st try
Second:
Me, 38, DH 41- 1st try on first post-partum cycle

I was using OPKs so we knew when I was ovulating.

I was 32 and DH was 32. I have PCOS and it was our 2 cycle trying. ( I was also charting and using the CBEFM)

I was 31, DH was 32 and it was right away - it took us one time with no preventive measure.

We actually weren't trying but my periods were VERY irregular since going off the pill a few months earlier (the night we got pregnant we thought it was "safe" time as we had decided to start trying after the holidays were over).

This was a total fluke and as we gear up for #2, cynical me fully expects for it not to happen or for it to take forever!
