How long did it take you to conceive and what was your age

I'm 30, husband is 36. Took us 2 months - quicker than we expected

| First baby: 1.5 years. I was 30 and very healthy. We were patient and did not use any fertility help. Second baby: first month of trying. Third baby: we've been trying for a year and still wondering when it will happen. |

| For #1, I was 36, and it took 7 months (although only 2 months after I finally started charting and realized I didn't ovulate on day 14 - the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" was wonderful for me). I was 38 for #2, and got pregnant the second month, again charting. |

| I was 34 and it took my 2nd month off the pill. Much faster than I expected. I had read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility," and was taking my temp, but mainly to establish a baseline. We were not actively trying yet, so consider myself very lucky. |

We are very lucky, getting pregnant was very easy for us...
#1- Just turned 29, got pregnant the first time we stopped taking preventive measures, wasn't really trying yet. Wasn't really ready for it to happen that quickly. #2- 2 months shy of 32, got pregnant the second month of actively trying. I should add that my cycles are VERY regular and I have very obvious signs of ovulation so it wasn't that hard to time it right. My DH is my age (about 8 months older than me). |

1st child - 32 - took us 3 months, I was charting my temperature so I knew when I ovulated
2nd child - 34 - took us 1 month, charting temps again We are very fortunate! |

27 - 1st, after a month off the pill
28 - 2nd, after 6 months of BFing and not trying (never got my period so I have no idea)

37 for 2nd - pregnant 2nd month (charting). |
