Poor people don't circumsice their boys because Medicaid no longer pays for it. Once the gov't insurance stopped paying for it, hospitals stopped offering and asking poor parents. My aunt works as a post partum nurse in a hospital primarily serving poor people. She said new parents aren't asked if they want their boys circumsiced.

We didn't circ for several reasons.
DH was circ'ed to "Americanize" him and he remembers how painful it was. There was no way he was going to subject a child to that and he didn't believe it hurt infants less. They just can't voice their discomfort.
My nephew's circumcision was botched and there is a notch near his urethra and potty training him was difficult as his stream sprayed.
We lived in a country where it wasn't done.
I wasn't calling Rabbis for reccomendations.
I did not want to deal with a wound that would be constantly contaminated with feces and urine.



I later spent the day with a friend after the birth of her son. I saw her son before and after his circ and there is no way anyone can convince me he wasn't in shock then pain. He just laid as still as possible and looked up at the ceiling. He'd go rigid if anyone touched him and would wail when his big brother would touch the bassinet.

I'd never had a negative thought about parents who circ'ed. Not until I saw my friend's baby.

This is what DCUM would have you think, but per my OB, it's not true. She said that most propel still do circ, unless they can't afford it. Some insurance doesn't cover the procedure anymore.

Guy here....I can not say that other boys won't notice. But they will not comment on them not noticing. For example, guys do not know if they are larger or smaller than average, because guys to not look at other guys junk. It just does not happen. If someone was seen looking at the junk, they would be called out for being gay. That is the reality.

It is not at all like piercing the ears, it is cutting off a part of the body, like female circumcision. It is barbaric.

I'm surprised that no one has commented on the fact that uncirc'd men supposedly have increased sexual sensation.

So for the men that want their sons to enjoy oral sex, how about maximizing sex in general?

I have had sexual relationships with uncir'd men and the sex was excellent-yes, blow jobs too. Cleanliness was not an issue, no odor, no problem and as a pp said, erect, they are all the same.

Not Jewish, not male, consider myself educated. I circumcised my son. Never knew there was such a controversy about it. Have only been with men who were circumcised. My husband, a Catholic, is circumcised - not Jewish.

No the boys won't bully or tease. They are very happy that another boy is uncirc. They know that he is no competition for them with the girls and later on women. I wonder if some of these uncirc moms just don't want their baby to grow up to be a man and have a sex life.

People say the most ridiculous things. I've dated both circed and uncirced. I have never encountered a foul odor, have never had an drs or any of this other nonsense. Sex is more satisfying with an uncut man. And my uncut DH gets oral sex several times a week. Most women I know who have been with both prefer uncirc.
