Are Boys Bullied for being Uncircumcised?

The sockpuppeting on this thread is out of control.

30 year old guy here...didn't read all the way through the thread but wanted to chime in.

I don't remember much direct teasing about non-circumcision--although us guys didn't really get fully naked in the locker room, usually boxers or shorts stayed on during P.E. changing etc.

As with much bullying, the source of the bullying kind of makes a difference. We used to rib one guy who was uncut about his a little bit in middle school, but he was a popular guy and we were all friends so it didn't impact him very much. I'd imagine that same ribbing could have more impact on someone less confident, or if the source came from someone/a group that wasn't friends.

FWIW, I know three different guys who got circumcised between 20-25. All of them got their fair share of women, so it wasn't like it was holding them back in that department. I think they just felt a little self-concious for some reason and wanted a cleaner look...and were willing to go through the painful surgery to get it.

Sex is more satisfying with an uncut man. And my uncut DH gets oral sex several times a week. Most women I know who have been with both prefer uncirc.

That doesn't make sense

Male here--very thankful my parents circumcised me as a baby so I don't remember it. Much prefer that look, and have heard first-hand from multiple women that they do as well. I recognize "to each their own" but I'm really glad it was done.

The son of a friend of mine had to be circed at age 13 because he kept getting infections. I don't think he was ever bullied, but I think in retrospect the family wishes they had had it done when he was a baby.

God, I am pregnant and I hope it is not a boy so I don't have to make this decision.

It is quite different. It is more like piercing the ears. Circumcision has minimal impact on feeling, and significant health benefits. Most of the rules in the Jewish religion make sense from a health perspective if you go back 2500 years.

It is not at all like piercing the ears, it is cutting off a part of the body, like female circumcision. It is barbaric.

You are wrong. And you are racist.

Here is why you are wrong: The foreskin is not a functional organ. By comparison, the clitoris is functional; the purpose of female mutilation is to remove the pleasure of sex in girls. The purpose of circumcision is hygiene.

Here is why you are racist: you are calling all jews barbarians.

Well, I am Jewish, and I did not circumcise, so that makes you a fool.

I didn't read through seven pages of comments but let me assure you of something. Very, very few high school students get naked in the locker room any longer. The days of showering at school are long gone.

Kids change right into their school clothing and go back to class. Athletes sometimes don't even go near the showers. They dress and go home.

You wouldn't do it for look, you do it for health reasons

Uncircumcised Is a sign of the lower class

This isn't true at all. It's also insulting. For one thing, educated people understand the medical benefits of circumcision.

It has some truth to it, unless I'm getting less educated(what? about to get my degree).I did have my 1st boy circumcised because "that's what they offered at the hospital and that's what they do in America". If the nurse hadn't been walking around with the paper for me to sign, I probably would've left the hospital without having his penis snipped.I can't say I regret it, but I don't find it necessary. No snipping anybody this time around...
As a woman, I prefer the uncut penis.Don't care for the numb and head staring right at me dickhead.

We didn't think there was any reason to cut him at birth and our pediatrician agreed that there was no proof one way or the other about benefits. But I don't want my poor DS to be smelly and unwanted by women because of his penis! We never even thought about that. Those women on this board who have slept with uncirc'd men, please speak up and tell us the truth. Are the people saying that uncirc'd penises are dirty and smelly got anything going for them?

No, no and no. The sex is better- they are more aroused, and come more easily which I like. Just my experience, and I've slept with both kind. The uncut europeans and lationos have been better in bed than circumcised Americans.
