Okay, just so we are clear. You are not concerned about domestic disputes involving guns. I assume that if your husband threatens you with a gun, you will just smile and thank him for showing how much he loves you? The title of this thread was the title of the article I quoted. If you have a problem with it, take it up with the newspaper. |

He is guilty of murdering Trayvon, although I agree there was not enough for a conviction in court.
Hence, the universe is trying to take care of it for society - just like the universe took care of OJ eventually. |
His wife said their marriage was already on the rocks long before the Treyvon Martin case. Zimmerman was actually out of the house the night he killed Treyvon because him and his wife got into a big argument. |
|
So, Zimmerman was being held at one point.
My vote is "questioned" and "held" are equals...detained is a step beyond. Most here will probably admit they'd hoped he was being detained, but 'held' and 'questioned' really don't have much sunlight between then. and i am sure you think arrested = guuilty. |
If you look at how he was persecuted and outcasted, he really didn't. OJ had a very big ego, his first wife said he would actually talk to other women in front of her. Like he changed the more famous he became until he eventually left her for Nicole. Now you can look in OJs eyes and tell he is dead inside. |
no i would shoot first. |
See...this "Zimmerman is a victim" stuff is a little too crazy. None of us know what really happened that night, although based on some of the facts about GZ's temper, we can probably hazard a good guess that it had something to do with it. What we DO know is that an unarmed teenager died by his hand. Any normal human being with an ounce of remorse would lay low. Not this guy. Besides the traffic stops, do you know that this guy recently took a cheesed up picture with the guys at the factory who made the gun he used to kill Trayvon? I call THAT disgusting and I call that rubbing it in. His life is pure hell because of decisions that HE made that did not turn out so well - including to decision to follow Martin. |

I think the news sources were mostly too quick to jump on this story, because of the sensationalism.
Turns out no charges are being pressed, Shellie has backtracked and said she didn't actually see a gun, and no gun was found by police on Zimmerman. However, I'm in no way suggesting he isn't a narcissistic, controlling a-whole who now probably thinks he's invincible. |
I'm not concerned about THIS domestic dispute involving a gun. Because it doesn't seem to have legs. If things change, I'll reassess. I've done the same thing, i.e. quoted the title of the article or a line in the article and got crap for it. Some same backatcha

Probably not, even though he is right up there with OJ in terms of loserdom. |
You are right. You should apply for the wife position now that it is vacant. |
What bounty? She is just hedging her bet in a logical manner. It is not like she killed him or anybody. |
| We don't know the whole story. Maybe she came at him holding a bag of Skittles. |
Killing an unarmed person is disgusting. Zimmerman and all he represents is what is wrong with America. |
Why wouldn't you expect it? Oh, I forgot. White kids with professional parents never do anything wrong, immoral or illegal....
