She got a tan over the summer, and he thought she looked suspiciously dark and decided to stand his ground. And once again the police in Florida decided that this was perfectly ok.

While he is an unconvicted liar (about his passport and wealth). Big whoop.

But it is true that there is a lot of drama in this family. It's possible her story isn't true. Wife and her dad have declined to press charges. OTOH, lots of victims of domestic abuse don't press charges so that's not a sign of anything one way or another. But anyone who has been through what he has been through doesn't put himself in situations like this -- or that is, anyone who isn't a moron.

In fact, I think this reflects worse on him than if he were truly evil. He's just stupid. How embarrassing is that?
