People post comments on topics that interests them, most likely because they are in a slight to very similar situation. They seek answers and stumble upon threads like these, reads them, and hey, people want to share their thoughts! Regardless if it is 2 years old, or 5, or 10! Obviously, the poster still have not resolved her issues with husband's friend...

OP, I am a black 35yo who has been mistaken for a prostitute in Washington, Paris, and Madrid. If you were older than 25 at the time it happened you just looked too attractive and fashionable for D.C. I used to get so upset when it happened but now I think of my would-be johns fondly. If only someone wanted me that much now...
