September 2013 Due Dates: Join us here

Happy September Ladies!

How are you doing? I am Lola and as a reminder, expecting my second on Sept. 16. I honestly think this one is coming early but maybe I"m wrong. I have been having very strong, painful BH occasionally and they are working as I am about 60% effaced and 1cm dialed according to OB.

We are all ready. Everything is done. Just waiting. I am still very, very tired and if left alone, will nap twice a day. I work from home next week and start mat leave the second week in Sept.

Overall I'm feeling pretty good which is slightly discouraging but then again, I felt pretty good 5 days late with #1.

How are you?

Hi! I don't have a name on this thread but am due with my first on 9/20. I was surprised to find out I am 2.5cm dilated and 75% effaced at my appointment last week. Since then I think I have lost my mucus plug (or at least some of it). I know none of this has any real bearing on when I will deliver, but maybe early?? We are ready and I would love to meet this baby, but for work/leave purposes, it would be better to hang on closer to the due date.

I feel different day to day depending on how I sleep. I have a fair amount of low back pain at night. Lots of peeing, lots of pelvic pressure/shooting pains, and Braxton-Hicks all the time. At least I assume that's what they are; they don't hurt but my uterus is tight almost every time I touch my belly these days. At my last appointment, the OB felt it and said yes, I was having a contraction. My blood pressure has been over the 140/90 threshold at a couple appointments, but the pre-e bloodwork has come back clean. Good luck, Lola and everyone else!

Welcome 9/20. I feel about how you do with the pressure, low back pain, and BH. I hope it means early baby but realize that is based mostly on hope not science. Sigh.

Good luck to you! -Lola

I am feeling uncomfy. Lots of BH. I pee about 4x per night! My blood pressure has been really good, so I'm happy about that. I just can't wait to be done at this point.
