Hey again everyone. I'm 15+2 today and feeling pretty good. I'm starting to show with clothes now. It's actually a great feeling to have a visible sign of everything that's going on inside - makes me smile when I see it.

I'm a little over 14 weeks. I'm still wearing regular clothes but it shows a little. I told people once my NT and blood tests came back so I don't care if it shows now. I feel mostly normal but I wake up to pee a lot.

I"m feeling great. I finally have energy and I'm now into list-making mode. Our house is not at all ready for #2 and there's lots of reorganizing that needs to be done. Our house also needs some repairs that can no longer be delayed. I feel motivated to tackle these projects now...not overwhelmed like earlier. That's an improvement!

16 weeks today and I think I may have felt the baby last night. It was just once and I didn't realize that it could be the baby until after it happened, sort of "wait, what was that?" moment. It's a little early and I could be fooling myself, but it still made me smile.

Sort of O/T, but has anyone checked out the Sept 2013 due date forum on Babycenter? It's a wild scene.

There's always some baby daddy drama going on.

And I guess I'm officially An Old because I can't understand half of the posts.

You made me do it. It took me about 2 min to find a girl who was hit in the belly by her baby-daddy. Ick.

Yeah, that one is really sad. I saw another post by that same girl about how she wants to breastfeed but feels weird being so young, and her boyfriend doesn't want her to. One good thing is at least she's getting some positive encouragement.

But there is some entertainment over there. If you're looking for more procrastination material, look up the The Best of Delivery Room Dramas thread.

Hello,

So glad I found this. Our second little girl is due September 12. We live in Silver Spring and work in DC. I dug the maternity clothes out this weekend, and it feels so good to no longer be jamming myself into my pants. I have also been looking at the Babycenter birth club, and yep, it's a show. Looking foward to getting to know you ladies.

Hello!

I live in DC, am 17 weeks today, and this is my first baby. Agree with the PP who said maternity clothes are so much more comfortable than jamming yourself into regular pants! I finally broke down and bought some maternity pants this weekend & these things are freaking glorious!

Question... any input on when you usually feel the baby kick for the first time (especially if this is your first)? I *thought I might have felt something teeny tiny last night but then again, it might have been gas (I did have a lot of greens, lentils, and beans yesterday)? I have heard anywhere between 16-20 weeks. Just wondering about your experiences?

Happy Thursday September moms-to-be

Hi MG and early riser:

Re: Feeling the baby kick. I'm 15 weeks with my second and I think i've felt kicking 3 separate times. But technically, I think it might be too soon and I too am gassy.

I LOVE maternity pants. I don't understand why normal pants don't take advantage of some of that technology.
I personally am looking forward to it being warm so I can wear dresses. I don't like anything around my waist right now.

This cold is lasting so long. I hate it! --lola

Hi everyone, I'm due Sept. 15 with our 2nd. Live in MD and work in DC. Our 1st just turned a year last week so we'll have a newborn and an 18 month old (pray for me!!!)

I'm also still breastfeeding - is anyone else? We're transitioning to whole milk and she refuses anything but the breast when I'm near but my supply has dwindled so much that I only get 6oz when I pump. Please tell me weaning gets easier or my supply will increase!

Regarding the movement, I've been feeling an occasional bubbles-like feeling infrequently for maybe two weeks now. I thought I was nuts, but as it keeps happening and now is happening more frequently, I do think it is the baby moving. Last night while I was lying down I felt the same bubbles, a lot in fact, and when I put my hand on my stomach I could feel it. And it sort of moved horizontally across my abdomen, so I don't think it would be gas? Even if I'm kidding myself, it's a comforting feeling and anything to make me less anxious is good, I feel!

And I am so happy to be in maternity pants this week. I can technically still fit into all my pants, but they are so uncomfortable to sit it. Even the pants I have a size up are too snug on my stomach. I had bought a bunch of maternity clothes from Old Navy two weeks ago when there was a sale, but I didn't think I would need winter pants. So I look like an idiot walking around in capris and my winter coat.

So tired of the cold but you can remind me I said this when I'm bloated and huge and it's 90-something degrees out.
