Shhh! Someone will hear you, and you’ll be tarred and feathered as an irredeemable bigot.

Hah, and agreed. OP is clearly trying to turn this into a gotcha moment against people with legitimate and genuine concerns.

On a similar theme, at my local Y, which is very nice, there is a separate locker room just for boys, including teen boys. So there's a men's changing room/bathroom, women's changing room/bathroom, a family changing room/bathroom, and a boys changing room/bathroom. There isn't one for girls. And we all know why, don't we? It doesn't mean the vast majority of men are perfectly decent and trustworthy but there are some out there who are not.

Thats weird......
Itd be better if all places just had family restrooms but they dont.

You are familiar with the concept of leering men, aren't you? Old females aren't leering at young teen girls in changing rooms. What is weird is people who pretend this doesn't happen.

So... let's bring little girls into men's rooms?

Your logic isn't working.

The only little girls who would be in men’s rooms would have their dads there to protect them. Nobody’s bothering them.

Awww you're such a helpless little flower, aren't you. How do you even walk out of the house without your husband to protect you?

The only people these little girls need protection from are lunatics like you and the one who was yelling at the father.

This grown woman expects to be given the snowflake treatment while 4 year old girls apparently are tougher.

But, but, but they are PROTECTING the children.

Just like the guys who interrogate women coming out of bathrooms for not looking feminine enough are PROTECTING women.

So... one Dad with kids in a place where there are stalls = scary aaaaaa.

A restroom full of men with open urinals = "Dad has nothing to worry about with his daughters."

Yeah... nope.

So because men are bad, men should take kids into the women's restroom. Now we have a man in the women's restroom. How does that solve any problems? He's likely a urinal user so why is he suddenly a good guy?

Apparently, it’s so damaging for a little girl to potentially see a penis that we should invite men into women’s restrooms so women have no expectation of privacy from men anywhere.

Are girls in men's rooms washing their hands at the urinal? Wondering how this risk of being flashed is suddenly so great yet we send little boys in their with no qualms.

I think the majority of people still want it. That’s why there’s generally very strong compliance.

People need to get over themselves. As this article shows, it goes far beyond trans women.

The fact that you'd rather expose a 5 year old to a stranger's penis than simply walk by a man who is helping his daughters is all we need to know.

Why just because that's the way you want it? You can't always get what you want.

Trans women have nothing to do with this. Don’t change the subject.

Who is going to enforce this? Are you going to be the potty police?

DP but neither can you. If you want a totally private bathroom, stay your ass at home where you can control who comes in and out.

4 year olds are also the type to wander off and go "hey what are you doing" to the stranger while Dad's washing the other kid's hands. The guys at the urinal don't have to be doing anything wrong.

I’m not changing the subject. Everyone should use the bathroom that they feel most comfortable in. End of story.
