If there are no family bathrooms girls should not be sent in men's bathrooms

But men also should not be in women’s restrooms, so what’s the solution? Put the onus on all women to let men into women’s restrooms or have the occasional dad with little girls have to take them into the men’s room? I side with the majority rather than the small minority of cases where little girls can’t potty by themselves.

Women and men in every other part of the world manage to coexist in shared bathrooms, but special MAGA snowflakes think that everyone is out to get them all the time.

Rather seems like you think MAGA is out to get you everywhere, all the time. Do you check under your bed at night for one, just in case?

Logic is not your strong suit. I'm not the one screaming at a young father traumatizing little children. You all are.

We "all" are? Is it one or just all? I thought there was literally one person involved.

If we had shared restrooms, this wouldn’t be an issue, but we don’t. We should build men’s restrooms differently. Maybe have a privacy partition between the sinks and the urinals and a way to enter a stall without seeing the urinals. And of course men’s rooms need diaper changing stations.

True, but I also fail to see why anyone would lose their shit at the sight of a father helping his daughters use the restroom.

I've seen events with separate stalls and urinals. That would be just fine. Like I have a boy but he's too small to use most urinals.

People like that are usually deeply unhappy so they're looking for any excuse to scream and act out. Same person would scream at a waiter for bringing the wrong soup or kids splashing at the pool. There's just something broken inside them and they need to take it out on the rest of us.

People are crazy. Acting surprised is pretty naive. I think your husband would be pretty amused that you're fighting for his right to enter women's restrooms something he has never done and will never do.

Completely agree. They are broken people.

I don’t have an issue with this father and I wouldn’t have said a word to him, but my 7 year old dd would have been very uncomfortable at the sight of a grown man at the sink in the ladies room if she exited a stall to wash her hands and saw him there. Honestly, I’d rather his kids be uncomfortable than mine. People will say “just explain that he’s a dad helping his little girls the same way you helped her when she was younger,” but I don’t really want to communicate to her that she should ignore her discomfort and assume the best when it comes to men being in women’s spaces. Women are served well in general by being vigilant around strange men.

I lived in Australia for a year. The locker rooms were coed. The stall doors were almost full length - only like an inch from floor or ceiling so peeking was not an issue. Initially, it was weird, but I got used to it.

Uhm what? Do you know my husband or something?

He absolutely has and would do it again in a heartbeat. He and I are not lunatics like you.

I mean, we already know you're a super shitty human. You didn't need to expand on it.

PS you're raising your daughter to be just as shitty as you are.

That works. If things are going to be coed, give everyone greater privacy.

I have never seen a man in a women’s bathroom with young daughters. I have been asked by men to watch their daughters when they would see me going in with my kids.
If I did run into a man with young daughters in the women’s room, I would ignore it and go about my day. The women’s room is STALLS. No one can see anything unless they are obviously trying.
His presence at the sink should not have deterred the women from going in and using a stall. I really don’t know how they felt threatened by a man at the sink with 2 young girls.
If I was a father with 2 young girls, I would be hesitant to take them into a men’s restroom at a gas station.
FWIW, when I was younger I was a bit of a tomboy -wearing baggy sweatshirts with short hair. I was accused of going into the wrong bathroom on a few occasions – and this was in the 1990s. I would just shrug and say I’m not a girly girl, but still a girl.
I have also accidently walked into the wrong restroom… and promptly saw urinals and walked out! Mistakes happen.
